Question on 5x5 NEEDSIZE or anyone please help

Hey guys,

I had a question on the 5x5. I'm going to be starting that today, w/ arms.

Normally my arm days look like this:

(Biceps)
Barbell curls- 4x8
Hammer curls- 4x8
Incline curls- 4x8
(Triceps)
Standing tricep pulldowns (cable machine)- 4x8
Tricep pushdowns- 4x8
Skullcrushers- 4x8
(Forearms)
Forearm curls- 4x8

So, let me get this straight. In doing the 5x5, I should abandon all of the 4 set workouts, and instead run it like this?

(Biceps)
Barbell curls- 5x5
Hammer curls- 2x10
Incline curls- 2x10
(Triceps)
Standing tricep pulldowns (cable machine)- 5x5
Tricep pushdowns- 2x10
Skullcrushers- 2x10
(Forearms)
Forearm curls- 3x10

Also, I normally go up 5-10 lbs on each set of my 4x8. Should I be raising weight on the 2x10 sets? Or just doing the same weight in both sets? Seems like a really short workout. Karma for any helpful info. Thanks, bros.

i just recently started this program too, when i consulted with needsize aboiut it, he suggested doing one set of light weight to warm up with if i remember correctly. i set my work out up about the same as yours except i mix my works out up from week to week. as far as going up in weight i dont think i would, i have just been doing a true 10 rep set. picking the weight i know i can only get ten times, not a rep more or less, and using that.

i have only been on 2 weeks but i love every second of it.

i do 4 days of 5X5 and one day of HIT
i havent woke up as sore as i am now ina long time. feels like my first week on dbal all over again. LOL ...

Well hope it helps, probably not as indepth as you want to hear but do my best. PEACE

Forearm curls I'm going light. I have big forearms as it is, but I do a barbell w/ about 105 lbs.

And if anyone else has any input, I'd appreciate it, too.

I have a lot of old injuries but I do a lot of warmups
heres an example
squat
45 x 10 reps
135 x 8 reps
225 x 5 reps
315 x 5 reps
365 x 1-2 reps
405 for 5x5
just enough that I have a feel for the heavier stuff but not enough that I am fatigued
