Question for anyone in their late twenties and up

Id say that for most, 26 would be far to early yet to start seeing the effects of the aging process.
I don't know homey. you line up some 26yo chicks with some 20yo's and there is usually a big difference. although that may be more due to the alcohol and pizza abuse

AGREED.

I think the only that concerned me at 26 was what I was gonna wear that night and how I could make my boss's brother believe it's ok to go out with your sister's employee.

The rest is a blur.

but you *cough*old*cough* chicks are looking at it from the wrong POV. it's all relative. a 40yo woman thinks a 30yo woman is young and has a lot of aging she hasn't seen yet. A 50yo woman *cough*smurfy*cough* thinks a 40yo woman is young....you get the point. At 26, you may see some signs of aging, relatively speaking. It might not compare to what's in store in the future, but it's still there compared to when you were 20.

well duh. That's because 20 y.o. is still a child. Come on, be serious.

Dude - if someone looks old in their 20's they got bigger problems than relativity.

I don't remember thinking about getting old in my 20's or feeling old for that matter in my 20's. It was only til 35/36 that I realized I look like crap without 5/6 hours of solid sleep and didn't feel old until I realized I was listening to 70's classic rock on the stereo by choice.

How is that the wrong POV?

Maybe I misunderstood this entire thread. My point is that a 26yo is older than a 20yo and you can see that in their body and face. Doesn't mean they are "old", but they are still "older". I didn't think this was about "looking old" at 26.

Ohhhhh
I thought it was the later.

But if it was what you are suggesting - I totally agree with you.

26 and I can honestly say I have yet to have any moment of reflection on my age/development other than my maturity level. I'm not big into self analysis, especially if it's something I have no control over. Plus I'm fat

This is how I feel too but I'm not fat.

same shit here. When I was 24 I started feeling like something was wrong...I was like "ok, between 21-24 is a nice age now somebody stop this shit" and never stopped. Now I'm 29 and look like a 29yo. Now more than ever I try to live and enjoy the moment.
