Why is it that the media seems to give off the impression that the USA is the ONLY country that should be allowed to have nuclear arms, why is this?


I'm going to start a petition for the aquisiton of nuclear arms for Canada so that we can protect ourselves from the American threat

We are the only country that should have them because we are the only country that needs them. Nobody is going to attack Russia, Iraq, or China. But those countries have and will continue to attack other nations. The United States has no interest in expanding it's land mass and the entire world hates us so it makes sense that we are the only country that should be allowed to have nukes to protect ourselves and other nations.

I must have missed History class the day they went over this...

I think we CAN tell other countries what we wish.

More than anyone. the US is capable of selling arms on the black market. Where do you think the taliban got the majority of their arms?? They were sold to them by the US when they were fighting the Russians.

The states has also sold weapons illegally to countries such as Iraq, Iran, and (believe it or not) cuba.


Personally, I view the US as the "dark side" of society today. It's the "conform to our way or get out of the way" policies that make me a little sick.


No offense to the yanks on the boards, as I have many American friends, it's just that your country is possibly more aggressive than any other at the present moment.

No offense bro, but you are strengthning my point by making the American doctrine sound like a street thug. I've spent a LOT of time with different forms of military from all over the world and the American doctrine is certainly a HELL of a lot more aggressive....IE shoot first and ask questions later. It's as if they can do no wrong nor can any of their actions be unjustified.


What about when Americans are the aggressor? Is it than justified to be aggressive in return? Look at Columbia. The supposed "war on drugs" has been brought to foreign battlefields....but is it the place of the yanks to do this? There is a big difference between selling small arms (guns, grenades, etc.) than there is selling bio weapons and nukes. Those countries would and do sell them, we dont.
