Question about back (again)

Its been a on/off problem for about 3-4 months now and ive posted it on here before.Lower back pain that doesnt shoot down my legs or anything just across my lumbar area. Been to the doctors about 10 times in 4 months (all doped up and I hate it) MRI shown nothing and the doctor said its muscle related but I don't know what I am doing wrong to prevent this from hurting it seems like 2-3 days after working out I will be in pain, which makes it hard to workout 6 days a week like before. I also wonder if it could be water intake? I don't drink water NEARLY as much as I should even though I am always thirsty and pissing.

It seems like if I stretch my pain goes away some what. The pain isnt a 10 on a 1-10 scale (lol) Id say its usually a 5-6..

I am itching to do this test prop/npp cycle ,

could the npp possibly help ?

Sorry for being scatter brained if I am , bad ADD this morning.

I am itching to do this test testosterone propionate/NPP - Nandrolone PhenylPropionate - cycle ,

could the NPP - Nandrolone PhenylPropionate - possibly help ?

Never mind the TPP or NPP to try and fix it. Are you doing any core excercises? Lower back extensions, abs, obliques? Are you chunky in the lower midesection area of your body? Trust me, I have degenerative disk disease in L4/S1 and L5/S1, had surgery on it (dodn't work) -AND- I was hooked on pain pills for 10 years for that lower back pain. I have done core excercises for 5 days a week for the last 2.5 years and I have had NO pain there. I've also been off the pain pills for 2.5 years. I don't attribute the miracle in my lower back to steroids, I attribute it to me losing fat in my midsection and core excercises. CORE CORE CORE!

Very informative bro, I feel myself going down that same route. The physical therapist I was seeing mentioned almost the exact same thing about core but didn't give me any good exercises and I do the stretches that she showed me. I am not chunky I only weigh 175 now (and dropping ;( ) and the rest of my body is defined except I cant see my abs.. Do you think the lack of core exercises you did caused the disk disease? got me worried!

Edit: I am doing stretches on the yoga ball and doing abs but not lower back extensions! will try those out it might be the key to the victory.

This is exactly what I did for core, and exactly what I still do. It's not much but it worked! I do this everyday, Mon thru Fri.

Abs- 4 sets of 20 crunch type excercises, meaning either on the crunch machine with the weight plates that you put the pin in, or the crunch bench or any other ab machine.

Lower back- 3 sets of 10 of those hyperextensions I guess you call them. It's that angled padded device that holds you at the waist while you lean forward and then come back up.

Obliques- 2 sets of 10 side bends on that same angled device that you do lower back extensions on. I only do this twice a week cause I don't want overly big obliques.

Hanging leg raises- 2 sets of 10 when you hang by the arm slings and raises your legs up. This one gives you the nice lower "V" in your waist.

All this take me only about 10 to 12 minutes and it's the best thing for me out of all my working out cause I know for sure there was something wrong with my lower back and now I have no pain.

Heres a pic of me 2 years after doing those little core excercises and eating super clean for that same 2 years.

Excellent bro, thanks for the positive advice you have given me.

I agree with the posts above.

I had lower back problems and a physical therapist got me doing some stretching and lower back, abdominal exercises to strengthen my core. You would be surprised how lower abdominal exercises can help your back.

I am pain free and I have been for a long time.

drop weightlifting and do a month or two of yoga/tai chi

by the time you hit the weights youll be moving like bruce lee.

I play a lot of golf and sometimes get lower back pain (left side primarily) from the repititive nature of the golf swing. There are several golf specific core exercises for strength and flexibility you can do now. Just a suggestion but perhaps look into this to for some extra ideas for you. I know golf is not something you might immediately think of but i know some of the exercises (plank leg lifts e.g.) that I do have helped me in the gym.

i had lower back issues after a car accident and pilates and yoga helped more than anything else--and i could think of worse things to do than sit in a room with mirrors full of a bunch of women w/very little on

Pop some potassium. Takes care of back pumps which occur in same area. I don't do deads anymore because 1. I'm too old. 2. They aggrevate my back for days. Washing the dishes hurts.
Anyway... potassium helps my center lumbar a lot. Try it out.

Supps and gear may only take you so far, but will cure nothing.

As stated before yoga really helps along with stretching twice a day, preferably as soon as you exit the showers. Do core exercises after your workouts...what i like to do is do every core exercise i pretty much know, for 30 seconds a pop at each exercise. and then repeat it again for a total of 2 sets.

maybe as your strength begins to increase do either roman deadlifts or plate raises with really low weight/high reps. i wouldnt know you would respond because 1. i am not you and do not know the extent of the injury and 2. dont have any experience with the injury.

Make sure you hit up some physio, thats essential.
