Been raining for the last 2 days - dry all week, rain all weekend - go figure.

Just ordered more Glucorell, Cardio Breeze & an Anafit shirt. Probably put "Q-Tip" on the back of it LOLOLOL
 
How do I know when it's safe to increase weight on a particular exercise?


Do I increase reps or weight or both if the goal is weight loss?


If you are just beginning to do supersets how long should you keep the same weights on the exercises involved?

Well I am by no means an expert but I'll put my two cents in anyways ;) I start increasing my weights when I know that I can get out 12 reps no problem... at one gym I go to the dumbbells go up in 2.5 lbs increments so thats what I increase by. THe more muscle you have, the more fat your metabolism will start to burn (atleast I think I am wording that right) so for weight loss I would say increase the weights so you gain more muscle :) I've noticed in the past when I superset I feel burnt out quicker, but I usually try to slightly increase the weights the 2nd week around ;) Hope that helps ya a little bit hun!

I took a deep breath and politely stated that if he ever did that to me again I would staple his eyelids to the back of his head and then remove his testicles, mail them to his mother and never break a sweat.

The net admin stepped in, pulled him away from my desk and said:
#1 never ever ever tease her with a honey bun, EVER!
#2 don't mess with her food, it's not wise,
#3 run if you want, she will catch you and she will remove body parts if you mess with her too much."

The other tech was also standing there, he waited till the net admin was done and all he said was: He's being serious, really, he isn't joking. I have a newfound respect for my net admin ;)



I proceeded on putting an entire 7 oz foil pack of tuna on my veggie salad and eating lunch. :chomp: (yes I remembered the glucorrel)

This is exactly why I love this site!! See someone else who can get as cranky as I can... Good thing you have more brain power to stop yourself from following through on your words... I'm affraid if he did that to me this past saturday... Well he would be a female and talking in a real high pitch.... His mom would have the set.

Did I mention that I'm the youngest of 14? - - There were always about 8 of us runnin around, the 4 closest in age to me were all boys. Needless to say I learned to defend myself in some very clever ways. :evil:

If I had been carb cycling & on a low carb day - - I'd be wearing an orange jumpsuit and living in a small cell by now. It was a honeybun.

Sadly there are only 2 places in town that make them and the deli that makes the best was closed. The Arby's reubans aren't bad, they are digestable. LOL

I found this on another site- It's good advice-

OK, maybe I didn't mess up my meds yesterday, I'm starting to wonder......
My stomach hasn't felt right since yesterday but I just figured I took the wrong pills and also chalked it up to mother nature, however, I ate the apple & there wasn't any improvement, then I ate 5 saltine crackers. Shortly thereafter it was as if someone poured hot water on my head and it just washed over my entire body, I ran to the rest room and :sick:

I've eaten a roll of rolaids & laid down for a while and managed to choke down a turkey burger earlier but I don't know if I want to even try to eat anything else tonite. :sick:

I'm sittin at 925 cals consumed so far today and I need at least 1550 so I may try some plain chicken and maybe some milk or something.

-1/4 c all bran
-10 pickle slices
-meatloaf sammich: pumpernickel/rye bread, slab of meatloaf, handful of shredded lettuce & the rim of the meatloaf had ketchup on it.
-3 pcs flax/O3 bread w/just a smidge of promise on each piece
-1 c each blackberries, blueberries, raspberries mixed in 8 oz(?) container FF coolwhip
-1 tbsp skippy NPB (before bed)

Total: 1691
Fat: 28 - 16%
Carbs: 326 - 72%
Fiber: 43 - 0%
Protein: 49 - 13%

I have no idea how much water I drank today.

I went to the gym to pick up my protein powder and since noone knew what was going on - I did 30 min on the stationary bike. As I was leaving I stopped to ask the status of my order and was told that nothing he ordered has arrived and to check back tomorrow.

Workout was sad, very very sad, I suck at this.

This is the 2nd week for supersetting. Thought I should change it up a little because I'm starting to get bored.

Since I'm learning how to superset I only have 2 exercises in the set. I can add a 3rd one as I progress.

Superset 1:
--Bent over Rows 2x10 #50
--Incline flyes 2x10 #10 slow & controlled on each rep
Superset 2:
--Lat Raise Front 1x20 #10
--Lat Raise Side 1x20 #10
--Shrugs 1x20 #10
Superset 3:
--DB Curls 2x10 #10
--Tri Ext 2x10 #10
Superset 4: (last one)
--Asst Chin 2x10 resistance at #100

--Rear delt machine 2x10 #25 (very weak body part, these are hard)
--Shoulder press 1x10 #50

Cardio:
--Treadmill HIIT - walk 1 min 3.0, run 1 min 5.0, repeated cycle 5 times then finished walking to round out 15 min. Freakin right hip is still aching, it started during the HIIT. I don't care I need the cardio.

the first pic is the pic containing the winner of each division and the pic below it is a very sculpted back and I believe it's Hot Teachers back.

I'm 40 today. I was hoping to wake up and find "M" next to me wearing a bow and a smile..........but alas only Maxwell was there getting cranky cause he had to p and I wasn't up yet. :worried:

Waking temp: 96.0
Weight: 155 :finger:
bmi per scale at work: 26.7 (beginning:29.1 then 27.4 now 26.7)

AM supps:
1 water pill
2 CB

Meal 1
1 banana
20 cup coffee w/half n half & splenda

When I tell you I was big I wasn't kidding. That pic is around the time I was tipping the scale around the 200lb mark and then the pic from earlier this month. That sweater was my favorite and I believe it was a 2x, the elastic waisted jeans I had on were 16's and skin tight.

I wasn't expecting any gifts but when I came home from work there was this fabulous little purple box by the door. Picked it up to see which one of the kids ordered something.....It's for moi! ;)

I go inside and put it down until I get Maxwell out to do his business. I get back inside and open the box to find a tear-jerking Birthday card and the most beautiful gift from someone half way around the world whom I've never met in person.

Well it's Monday morning again and time to get ready for work :sick:
Busy week planned and not much gym time. Monday & Tuedsay I can hit the gym but Wed-Sat I'll have the punkin. :heart:
I hope the weather will cooperate and I can take her for a walk every nite, if not, I can take her to the mall and walk around inside if it's raining.

Well I'm off to the shower for another fun-filled day in corporate America!

I really need to win the lottery so I can stay home.........oh wait.........I don't play the lottery. :rainbow:

mammogram is this morning, pap is tomorrow. That means my boobs will be sore and prolly bruised for the next week.

Mammogram w/extra films done. Lump is still there. Ultrasound was done

"Oh we'll just wait 6 months and take another mammogram & ultrasound at that time....."

Puk yu - u have a nice time waiting.

Dr appt tomorrow for routine pap......she'll be ordering a breast biopsy because I'm not going through 6 more months of worry and fear.
