You aren't missing anything, I started morning cardio but I haven't been able to get my butt out of bed on time lately. I'm not sleeping well and when I do get up early I'm exhausted. Yes, I've been to the dr regarding my lack of sleep, she thinks it's stress from everything that's happening in my life at the moment.

I still get my gear ready at nite so that all I have to do is throw it on when I get up - just in case I get up in time and I'm not a zombie.

This morning I got up, ate breakfast & fell asleep in the chair. I told the dr I don't want to take sleeping pills. I may go get melatonin or something.
 
I think the Trex triggered a migraine. I've been fighting it all morning. If Trex didn't trigger it then a migraine was coming and I didn't know it and just happened to take a Trex.

Maybe I'll try again tomorrow w/1 trex. Maybe not, have to wait and see.

I haven't eaten to much this afternoon, headache, upset stomach. I took a nap on the floor w/Max & took more Excedrin Migraine. I'm drained and my limbs feel like concrete.

I'm happy I don't get headaches like this every day. Tomorrow will be better. :rose:

Borrowed an old digital camera that uses a floppy disk to store the pics.

Took some updated progress pics.

Put the floppy in the drive.

It won't read the disk. (yes I have the corresponding software)

Try to remove floppy.

Floppy is stuck - - W T F

Walk to bathroom, get hemostats (used for retrieving stuff outta the drain, like my hair ties)

Use hemostats to retrieve disk.

I'll have to take the drive completely out of the machine and take it apart to see what the problem is. At least I have a few spares :FRlol:

Given my children's history with my machines.......there's probably something in there that shouldn't be there. Kinda like the grilled cheese, crayons & Barbie shoes that went in the vcr when they were younger.

This has been a screwed up day. I'm goin to bed and hopefully get lots of sleep cuz I just drank some warm vanilla soy milk.

slept thru the alarm again - woke up almost 2hrs after I should have. Still have remnants of yesterday's headache. Nice.

Take it easy, I've had 3 Migranes in my life, and each time the only thing which made the pain go away was morphine at the ER, so chill and recover.

Thanks BiggT - Do your eyes need checked?

I'm tracking my temp to determine whats normal for me and to help determine if there are any thyroid and/or adrenal issues happening that could cause the weight to hang around.

That's my gran-Punkin :heart: she's a hoot!

We just made my daughters b-day cake and I licked the spoon clean.... and the fork.... and the bowl :) Then we made sugar cookies and we ate some of the dough... and then... actually that is it. The brownie sounds better! :)
 
I just had a fabulous 2 hr nap, slept like a rock, dreampt of riding my bike- that's weird. .....and 90% of the headache is gone. Yeah!

Brat called, needs a sitter for the nite so grammy's gonna spoil da chit outta the punkin again :heart: It's a tough job ;)

I can tell that the swinging fat of my tricep area has gone down considerably, almost no more batwings!

You can't see the definition in the calves but there's actually a line I can see when I'm on my tippytoes.

The fat isn't leaving fast enough dangit. *stomps foot*

The punkin was up at midnite, 4am & finally 7:30. Mommy got in at 4:30. Punkin went to sleep easily and maybe when I get up in the middle of the nite I should drink milk to see if it puts ME back to sleep. :lmao:
Grammy has the punkin changed, the dog taken out, coffee is on & dishwasher is running. Time for breakfast. :chomp:

I've remained in a disgustingly self-induced and extremely bloated vegitative state for most of the afternoon/evening but I did manage to get laundry done. It rained all day so I couldn't have mowed the grass if I wanted to.

Gonna take some more excedrin migraine and head for bed. Tomorrow I have to make nice at my daughter's party.

I spent some time over the last few weeks re-evaluating my commitment to my size reduction. (a more appropriate phrase)

I've been allowing my diet to slip more frequently & I'm less attentive to what I'm eating. I still track everything on Fitday but I absolutely dread the thought of trying to decide what to eat for meals. I suck at that and sometimes I'd rather not eat than to eat something wrong. If I could pay a nutritionist to say "you eat these meals on Monday and these on Tuesday....." I would.

I've been allowing my gym time to vanish because I'm so tired when I get home. There just isn't any energy left. I have some Cardio Breeze on it's way for me to try and I hope that resolves the energy issue. It would be really nice to have energy again and now I know why older people take naps.

I was really hoping the Trex would work. I had hoped that my body had changed enough over the years that I would be able to tolerate the stims. I didn't get jumpy and my heart didn't race like it used to with stims but even with drinking extra water and taking it with carbs like Macro & Ulter suggested I still got a migraine that just seem to last longer than usual.

Even with everything racing through my brain I can't let go of the fact that I really do want to be smaller and I'm willing to work at it. I need to take some time and really focus on getting my food & workouts lined out and I'm going to try and push myself for more cardio.

I have the Glucorell & Neurogenex to take this week and I'll see how those go but I will be scaling back on all the supps I'm taking. I'm going to go down to the bare essentials. Less confusing that way.

I need to get back to basics, simple but effective.
Simple food
Simple workouts
Simple supps

Well I was getting everything ready for this weeks meals and I was cooking the whole pack of turkey bacon, it goes in a container in the fridge and I get 1-2 slices out each day.........................

It was good.
All of it.
w/2 pcs of bread.

If anyone needs me I'll be in the bathroom sh***** or puking or possibly both. :sulk:

I think my menu for this week will be the following with very few variations as it worked very well for me that day.

**AM cardio** - I want enough energy to get this back

Meal 1
AM supps to include Glucorell
1 c cereal
.5 c milk
coffee w/FF creamer & splenda
2 tsp Fiber-Sure

Meal 2
1 small peach
.25 c Allbran w/xtra fiber
2 egg whites.
Crystal lite or water

Meal 3
2-3 glucorell caps prior to meal
7 oz tuna
8 oz broccoli or brussells sprouts
1 Mussellmans Cherry applesauce cup
2 Ryvita Dark Rye crackers
Crystal lite or water

Meal 4
PM Supps
1 small peach
.25 c Allbran w/xtra fiber
2 egg whites
1 sf jello cup
Crystal lite or water

Meal 5
6 oz Chicken or steak strips
or
4-8 oz talapia (although fish before exercise is very doubtful if it's a cardio day)

**GYMTIME**

Meal 6
16 oz Whey shake w/2 egg whites, glutamine & milk

Meal 7
1 tbsp Skippy NPB
or
1-2 tbsp Flax oil (I may put this in the PWO shake)
1-2 Melatonin caps

I bought a cranberry flavored wylers drink mix. Same macros as Crystal Lite and I like the taste of cranberries so I'm going to try it tomorrow.

I found out what made my life so much easier was just keeping a basic diet and if I carved anything left that for a sturday cheat meal... Or only switched out one meal in the basic plan. So much easier and less stressful. I got over the idea that variety was the spice of life... Convenient is the spice of life!
Keep it up... you're doing a heck of a lot better then most. What made you eat the whole package of turkey bacon? Stressed, bored, taste? Try and identify what it is and have a way to recognize the brain waves and actions going on next time and figure out how to do something else... Idea anyway.

Amen sista! I have a microwave, foreman grill, toaster oven & coffee pot - my stove is just taking up space.

All of the above - It smelled really good, I was hungry, depressed & bored.

There won't be too much of this diet that changes and I think I can live with it.

Ahhhh!! I know those feelings ALL TOO WELL!!

If you can - try & recognize these feelings before you chow down & do something else - such as listen to a good song, jump around, dance, punch something, etc etc so you will eventually learn not to associate these feelings with food......

Cardio Breeze is definitely good sh*t. I usually hate any kind of stims but I don't really feel CB until I start exercising and then...wow....I just want to keep going a la Forest Gump!

My knees and my right hip are killing me this morning. The hip I understand but wtf is up with my knees? *rolls eyes*

Spilled my coffee all over the seat of the car on the way to work & my lunch box is still at home. *bangs head on desk*

I refuse to have a bad day.

I refuse to have a bad day.
I really really really picked the wrong day to forget my lunch. :worried: forgot there was a pitchin today for June birthdays & to celebrate my smokefreeness (Yes, I forgot)

***I loaded up on the turkey burgers and tried to avoid the cupcakes, cookies, pies etc. I've downed 32 oz CL & I don't know how many bottles of water. Bless their hearts they tried to make their goodies as "healthy" as they could because they know I was dieting.

So far I've had 80+ oz of liquid, 32 oz was CL & the rest water, and I'm still drinking water.

4 tbsps of Milk of Mag because the jalapeno's in the Lowfat Spinach dip still aren't sitting very well. I'm afraid to eat anything else today. :sick:

For today I had:
coffee
2 cookies
2 brownies
1 bran muffin
spinach dip on handfull tortilla chips
1 whole wheat roll w/spinach dip (about 1 tbsp)
1 hamburger bun
2 turkey burgers made w/onion mix
.5 tsp mustard
.5 tsp mayo
1 chocolate cupcake w/icing
1 sliver of chocolate pecan pie (boss brought that one)

I got yelled at for "eyeballing" the food (I was trying to guesstimate portion sizes) and then I got yelled at for writing it down. *puts dork hat on & sits in corner*

Went to the Gym:
30 minutes on stationary bike
30 minutes on treadmill

I still feel like I'm gonna hurl.

I'll be putting the heating pad on my knees in just a few minutes, I have no idea why they hurt so much. The only thing I can think of is maybe my knees didn't like the shoes I was wearing when I did HIIT yesterday.

Q-tip - do you take Glucosamin/Chondroiten?? I find it helps my knees - I don't notice the diff. unless if forget to take it.....

And if your knees ache - RICE them --> Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation

Especially ice!!

I went to bed right after I posted last nite (around 8:30) Slept thru the alarm again, late for work by 11 min. WTF?

Knees don't feel too bad today, hip only hurts when I move a certain way. YEAH!

We're moving part of our office today, that means teardown and re-assembling about 30 pc's, phones, etc. and it has to be done today so I'm not sure if I will get to eat my meals on time today.

I'm running my morning utilities while I'm checking/posting on EF ;)

Yep. Been moving pc's since bright n early this morning. Just now stopped for lunch - they provided subway so I had a 6" Tuscan Chicken sammich, diet coke & baked doritos. :p

The right hip has always been harder to get loosened up than the left one so I expect pain/discomfort from it when restarting any exercise regimen.

LOLOL @ moving stuff. The IT staff stopped long enough to eat. I have to run some afternoon utils before I restart the moving adventure so they are just going to have to play with all the cables without me for a while.

Workout question:
Can you "superset" with 2 exercises of does it have to be 3?

If 2 is ok then I supersetted all of the dumbell exercises tonite w/little or no rest inbetween sets (no rest is a 15 second break or less) and as little rest as possible inbetween the supersets.

Bent over row - 3x15 #40 and
Incline flyes - 3x15 #10 (no rest between sets)

Front/Side dumbell raises - 3x15 #5 and
Standing dumbell curls - 3x15 #10 (15-30 sec break inbetween sets)

Seated machine press - 2x15 #30, 1x25 #30
Butterflys - 1x15 #40, 2x15 #30

Treadmill - 15 min 3.6 mph except last 2 min @ 3.0

Took the dog out & on the way back in I look down at my legs - I'm covered with ants. Apparently the part of the sidewalk I was standing on while Max did his business was covered in ants.

Yes I completely freaked out while dusting them all off. Got them off and went back in and hopped in the shower. Spent extra time scrubbing to make sure there wasn't any left on me.

I don't do bugs. Went out and sprayed the porch & sidewalk with bug killer and checked my legs carefully before coming back in.

I left my lunch box here from yesterday since I didn't eat anything out of it. Opened it today for meal 2 & at least 1 of my hardboiled eggs was frozen harder than rock hammered hell and I couldn't eat it. There were only 3 eggs in there, looks like I forgot to pack one yesterday.

***GYMTIME***
--30 min on the elliptical w/arms. HR stayed w/i cardio range for most of the time.
--Incline Crunches 3x15 (not much of an incline)
--Bike ride. 10.92 miles but I forgot to track my time. Definately over 30 min tho
(If I had realized that I was at 10.92 miles BEFORE I got off my bike I would have at least rounded it out to 11 miles. :verygood: I can't remember if that's anal retentive or anal restrictive...... :evil: )

I finished on the elliptical, did my crunches and headed back to start arm work but I just didn't feel like lifting tonite so I came home and went for a ride instead.

It doesn't mess anything up to occasionally trade cardio for weights does it? I mean if I did it all the time I could see potential problems but it's ok if it only happens occasionally right?

I just wasn't in a mood to lift and didn't want to take a chance of injurying myself by trying to hurry or not paying attention. I guess I was just in a cardio mood. :elephant: ....musta been the CB I took earlier ;)

16 oz Choc Whey shake w/glutamine, milk, 1 egg white & 1 tbsp flax oil.

I used the last of my choc whey tonite but while I was at the gym I ordered ON Soy protein powder and it should be in by Tuesday. Until then I'll have to deal with that nasty vanilla shyt I have. :sick:

I believe you are supposed to cycle it but I'm so dang happy that I finally have something that works AND doesn't freak my system out that I'm probably gonna look like a crack addict if someone tries to take it away.

They hired an intern for the summer and put him in the basement with the rest of the socially challenged IT staff. He's a high school student who admits to having OCD & being bipolar. (ok, I know how to deal with that so it's ok.) He doesn't shut up, EVER.

He immediately started doggin me for my food choices & that he's going to hide my lunchbox, etc.. He bragged about being able to eat whatever he wants, whenever he wants, etc. etc.

He went to the snack machine and bought the Honey bun that's been calling my name all day. (Thank you! I was hoping someone would but that thing)


Then he did the unthinkable.

He stood next to my desk, shoved the dietary kryptonite in my face & then proceeded to eat it while making all of the appropriate sounds. If it had been anything OTHER THAN a honey bun............. :worried:

I took a deep breath and politely stated that if he ever did that to me again I would staple his eyelids to the back of his head and then remove his testicles, mail them to his mother and never break a sweat.

The net admin stepped in, pulled him away from my desk and said:
#1 never ever ever tease her with a honey bun, EVER!
#2 don't mess with her food, it's not wise,
#3 run if you want, she will catch you and she will remove body parts if you mess with her too much."

The other tech was also standing there, he waited till the net admin was done and all he said was: He's being serious, really, he isn't joking. I have a newfound respect for my net admin ;)



I proceeded on putting an entire 7 oz foil pack of tuna on my veggie salad and eating lunch. :chomp: (yes I remembered the glucorrel)

Oh and just 1 thing I see that you are counting your coffe into your liquid intake, coffee acts as a diuretic so you should actually be substracting it.
