Purchasing gym equipment?

I need to purchase some gym equipment for my home gym that I'm starting. I plan on getting mirrors, matts, and sending up my garage with a nice home gym that I can train with. Any suggestions where to pick up some good deals on this not looking to spend more than $1,000 total

there are some websites like craigslist etc. taht have good deals. try there. don't buy new from a retail store

you can get gym equipment but why ? just get a bench and a set of dumbbells thats all you need

Look on line, many options, perhaps local classifieds will have it

I would look for used equipment (especially plates, dumbbells, bars) because people look to clean out their basements and give shit away super cheap. Be patient.
