pull up bar installation

i installed my pull up bar is it ok if its uneven by fractions of a inch

is it in a doorjam or mounted on a wall?
as far as lifting goes i dont think it would be a huge problem.

if its in a doorjam it might slip out easier over time

I put a couple of eye bolts in the joists in my shop, strung some chains, drilled and attached a 3/4 iron bar. It's awesome...
