Protien Blend or straight Whey??

need to... me and a buddy are considering ordering 20 lbs. That would have put us paying about $50-60 each for 10 lbs. Seems like a good deal to me

I like casein from ON. Egg pretty in the form of egg sandwiches is my first preference.

I would use a whey right after training and working out. I like the casein because its filling but doesnt make you fill. It also mixes well with my fiber. And I have noted added recovery the last two weeks.

anyone every check out buybulkwhey's site. Great price on whey... I just don't know anyone that has used it. I'd hate to order 20lbs and it taste like ass!

I haven't tried their stuff, but I get a good protein powder from bulkfoodsdirect.com. It appears to be pretty similar stuff. It's unflavored, and it doesn't have a nasty taste or smell like a lot of the flavored protein powders do. I have a shake after every workout, and even have a scoop in my oatmeal in the morning. It doesn't affect the taste at all, just thickens it up a bit. I've tried a lot of other proteins before, and this is by far my favorite. No need to try to "choke it down." I'd definitely recommend checking out Bulk Foods before you buy anything else.

Well the only word for this shit (ON nitro core 24) would be caustic.... Its that bad! I can't believe i'm going to have to stomach this shit. Tried bananas in the strawberry... still tasted like ass. Next is ANPB in the chocolate. I'm about to give that a go right now! I'll let yall no if i hurl! :I

You should have gotten the Carmel Toffee Fudge flavor. Mix it up with liquid egg whites into a thick batter, and then pour it into a skillet and cook like pancakes. For some reason the Carmel Toffee Fudge flavor makes the pancakes have a maple syrup taste to them. They taste like McGriddles. I shit you not. And for a shake.., when mixed with milk it tastes good as hell man.
