Protein supplements?

What are some protein supplements that are going to help me bulk and gain muscle. i used whey protein but im not really that satisfied with it what are some other supplements i can take. Can some one give me some information about the amino acid supplements?
 
You need protein, protein, protein. That means food. You can add a shake now and then for extra, but it's just another form of food. As for supplementation, there's GEAR -- and there's everything else. It's the only amino source that is superior to any food source.
 
Nelson said it right. Simply taking protein powder isn't going to make you jacked. Powders are there to help out (supplement) your diet and training.

Agree bro food food food first then protien shakes. I always say whey during the day and casien at night is best but protein itself is good no mater the source. If your looking into adding size bump your protien intake up daily and give PES Anabeta a look over. Several reviews on this one and help me out on some solid gains. Orbitnutrition has it for a good price. Good luck

thanks im gonna take your guys advice and go to whole foods. But does any one know if Optimum: Opti-Men builds muscle? Can you tell me which one is better the optimum one or the MusclePharm Armor-V? Oh this is gonna be extremly dumb question but what are some whole foods?
 
Pretty sure opti men is a multi vitamin. So it's not really gonna slap muscle on you. It's just goods for overall health. Idk about the other one though.

If you wanna bulk up just eat alot of food and drink alot of milk. Some peole recommend the use of GOMAD (Gallon Of Milk A Day). If you can't throw down a gallon at least try to drink a 1/2 to 3/4 gallon. It's cheap and effective, gives you alot of cals, protein and carbs!!

Whole foods: look it up on google. Too many to list!! Start eating!!!
 
I used to pay more attention to just protein grams than calories. Of course your muscles need protein and lots of it. Bcaas will help
Your recovery and help build quality muscle as well. Also tests say that they elongate life! Also I learned from one of the top nutritionist in the country that the average top notch athletes can only process about 30 grams max of protein at one time and your body needs 2 - 3 grams of carbs per gram of protein to synthesize that protein. So if you are drinking a 40g rtd shake with 2 g of carbs your body will only use about 20 of it. Whey Right after you workout and casein is good at night, but most of it should come from solid foods

That's why I love protein sludge, I've only been making it for about a month and I've already seen slight gains. If you want to bulk cals, carbs, and protein.
