protein intake

i am by no means a big eater but i have packed on 4 stone mostly muscle in the same amount of years if i increased my protein intake by 300 grms a day currently i am lucky to get 150 - 200 grms how much of an impact would it give me on growth:confused: no flames please;)
 
well, you didnt give too much info bout ur weight, and u dont like punctuation:)... but ill try to help you...

FDA recommends that you take in 1-1.8 grams of protein per lb. of bodyweight. Anything more is guaranteed to be digested instead of used by the body.

You have to remember that the FDA suggestion is only for minimun requirement and not for optimum nutrition, nor does it take into account the bodybuilding lifestyle.
