Problem with eating and training

Here is an example day for me:

Chest/Shoulders/Tris

Bench and then Flys

Shoulder presses then raises

Dips and then skullcrushers

The sets are ramping

My problem is, I am trying to eat enough to gain weight, but I seem to be gaining more fat than muscle. On this particular day I may have woken up and drank 2 glasses of milk, and ate some cereal with some complex carbs and an orange.

Then I work out, and have whole grain rice and chicken breast with a protein shake.

For dinner, maybe a salad and a steak, and another protein shake before bed.

I throw some lunchmeant turkey and a couple of other complex carb snacks in there during the day.

I am having muscle gains, and I take good care to not take in any trans fats, and keep fat intake to a minimux, and make sure the carbs I'm eating are good. I seem to still be gaining fat faster than muscle.

Can anyone point out a problem here?

Maby your eating to much if you gaining more fat then muscle?

Not sure if that is what the problem is, just a guess.

Try and put on 1 - 2 lbs a week, can be tricky if you havn't done it before.
If you specifically want most of the weight to be muscle then might be a good idea to count calories work out bmi bmr ect Split up total calories into the right amount of protein carbs and fat. Also post over on the diet forum

I would just add some cardio in. Keep the diet the same, at least the scale is moving the right direction. On your off days do 30-60mins worth of cardio, sprinting, jumprope, stairs, etc. Should help you burn off the extra cals and help with endurance.
