i HATE hearing about other people's dreams.
my daughter remembers her dreams every night.
she INSISTS on telling me.

my mother, unlike me, loves hearing other people's dreams and interpretting them.
she also wishes my daughter would call her more often.

so now i told my daughter that she should call grandma every day, tell her the dream from the night before, and get the meaning. everyone is happy, and I don't have to hear, "and then, somehow, we all turned into straw, and then my tooth fell out, and then we were in another house that looked like ours but wasn't."

Dreamed I stole a motorcycle and went joyriding on it last night, it was fun

i love the girl, and i want to pay attention, but i don't find dream-telling very interesting. i remember my dreams
much less frequently, and usually have little to say about them.

that's pretty much how i feel, except I don't even have the desire to pay attention. It's usually a long story, that doesn't make sense, and didn't really happen. but the person telling you can't wait to tell you the next part, even though they have trouble remembering it and sometimes have to go back and RE tell parts of it that they told you wrong the first time.

I rarely remember my dreams. in fact, i think i only remember a dream about once a year. maybe less.
