OMG im so excited tonight, I finnally hit the 300 club on the bench, I did 305 lbs from 295 lbs, last week, which I thought was 287, I thought the bar was 37 lbs but it turns out its 45, Like I thought it was..laff, So I guess that means all my lifts went up like deads squats ect... haha

anyways not to brag but I could'nt help it !!

haha, good work. Thats gotta be a great feeling.
I want to hit 300 bad. I think my max regular bench was around 295. But i had to lay off for a month due to a shoulder injury

Thats great work man. And way to bust past that mental barrier. alot of people have trouble getting over 300 just cause they dont believe they can do it.

Good work.
315 is only a few weeks away

great job! I just tried a decline bench of 300 yesterday and moved it about 1 inch.... errr. Got 275 though. I'm going to try some WSB stuff to get my bench moving.

I remember the 3 wheel goal....thought it would never happen. And when it did I was expecting some kind of party to be thrown in my honor...alas it was just me in the weight room. And the first thing I thought of was...4 Wheels.

Congrats on the PR. :)

I remember the 2 wheel goal...when I first started lifting I saw the 'big' guys throwing around 2 plates and I was all impressed...I can remeber taking like 6 seconds to lock it out, I was all by myself in the basement with no spotter, screaming (lol what an idiot)...now I can barely feel it, now the big guys are throwing up 6 plates and I want that...oh well...there is no done, only doing

Yeah...I remember the 2 Wheeler too. It was bounced off my chest and my ass was 2 ft off the bench...but it laid the ground work for later being able to do it right.

love your thinking Hannibal!:D

That's why it's all about the journey...by the time you reach a goal it is time to set another one.

Thanks for the comments guys, last night I thought I could do more after hitting 305, I had that "I can lift more feeling", it felt heavy but not real heavy,

I think I can do 315 for next week, 3 plates sure sounds tempting, and allot less work loading the damn bar :D

Are you testing your max every week? That would burn me out fast.

too funny! but you know what, you're right! my bench is my weakest lift right now...you know us chicks--proportionally weak upper body, strong lower body...comes in handy!;)

bump for Mike's comment...how often is too often when it comes to your 1RM effort? I have my heart set on hitting another DL PR this week...
