potatoes

what is the best way to prepare them? It has to be white potatoes, I don't like sweet potatoes. I am going to try Mr. X's "meat and potatoes" for bulking. Thanks.:)

Mlat-

Try getting those little baby potatos. My wife usually throws some baby potatos, green and red pepper, onion, and seasonings in a aluminum foil pouch along with some olive oil or butter, then tosses them on the grill while cooking the meat.

They get alot of flavor and turn out tender like that-ought to try it.

PS-Mr.X's bulk diet is the shit! Ive been on it for about 3weeks and am having great results.. I love the fact you're not overloaded with excess calories on your off training day, and the lag in calories kinda makes it easier for me to eat more calories when I go back to my heavy cal day.

Lemme know what your opinion of it is in a few weeks.

Power,

Thanks for the ideas, I'm pretty excited about trying bulk diet. One question. on the days that I do not train with weights I do cardio, would cardio be considered a non training day? I need to make sure I'm getting the correct calories each day.:D

Fast, delicious recipe. A big hit with Cooking Light Readers (and a lunch guess I had)

Rosemary Potatoes
Cooking Light, March 2001

1 T. butter
1 tsp minced garlic (bottled is fine)
1 tsp dried rosemary
1/2 tsp salt (kosher is best)
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 1/2 lbs red potatoes, quartered (about 4 c.) (wash the potatoes well, but don't peel them.)

Place butter and garlic in 8-in square baking dish. Microwave at Medium High (70%) for 45 seconds or until butter melts. Add remaining ingredients and toss well. Cover and microwave at High (100%) for 15 min or until potatoes are tender.

4 servings of 3/4 c.
