1. Dui
2. domestic Violence (the officer agreed to drop that in court after my ex basically said I didnt slap her) (she also stabbed me in the leg 2x while i was laying in bed but I lied to the po-po for her and said i got jumped by some puerto ricans )
3. Assault with a stick ( i swear it said that on the police report) - I pleaded guilty to a "civil ordinance violation" for that one.
I have spent 3 nights in jail and each time it sucked more and more. time goes so fuckin slow.
speeding tickets/moving violations - to many to list.

The only job he could get was some bullshit delivery job at 4 am, delivering meat and fish or wahtever to markets. so this kid went from making thousands monthly selling coke to busting his ass for peanuts. so what did he do..he went back to selling coke...got caught for the 3rd time about 3 months ago and is now sentenced to do a minimum of 8 years in state prison. he will be almost 40 when he gets out . he's wasted almost his whole life already.

You just hire an attorney and hopefully you find something procedurally suspect or you keep finding grounds for a continuance, the prosecution will eventually offer a deal once they know you're taking it to trial. They have a Reckless II charge in Ohio which is essentially a downgraded DUI, you get all the penalties of a DUI but it doesn't count you as a repeat offender if you get convicted of a DUI in the future.beefcake28 said:How did you get the DUI dropped to Reckless Operation? In most states, DUI charges are not very negotiable... Unless you had a fairly low BAC. Typically, if the BAC is above a certain level, the court's hands are tied, for the most part. The court is simply not allowed to reduce penalties or offer a plea bargain in those cases.

well over 30 stacks just to my attorney. I'm just lucky I live in Lake Co, IN where we have wonderful cities like Gary, Hammond and East Chicago. I recently looked at the felony warrants out for everyone in my county and it was just redicilous how many there are. I wouldn't even try and count all of them but I'd say there is close to 5000 of em.tonyroma said:thats alot of money you gave to the state
I saw saw the case before me get sentenced to 12 months for the same charge. The guy pushed the "victim" and he fell down in a bar altercation and claimed to have hurt his shoulder. In Ohio, if the victim goes to the hospital they can charge you with an F-2 regardless of the actual injuries.Gambino said:holy shit bro, I'm shocked
seems outta character from what i gather about you.
i assualted a police officer chic, made her bleed and everything
when i awoke in the tank the CO told me i was fucked and would do a miniumum of 5 yrs for battery of a peace officer

I was in Marquette a few years back with my GF, meeting her mom, and I got in a fight with three guys after the bar. The police were called, sorted out the situation and I wasn't charged. Toledo is a totally different world, I never would have been charged where I grew up.

That's why you don't blow.beefcake28 said:Gotcha. In Colorado, if your BAC was above a .16, and assuming the Defense attorney can't provide evidence illustrating anything to be procedurally suspect, the court cannot offer any sort of plea bargain, even for a first time offense... The best they can do is impose the minimum penatlies.
Don't ask me how I.... Nevermind.
