Been reading about various TKD style diets like the TDAWG 2 Diet etc and i've been reading about the post workout carbs being hi GI . I have a few questions about this now.
1. Do post workout carbs have to be hi GI or can they be low GI
2. Wont an influx of carbs set up fat making from these carbs?
3. I keep seeing that the best type of carbs to take after a workout are simple with protein therefore is it important to get this in the form of a shake or will something like chicken and rice or cereal mixed with whey suffice?
I appreciate any and all replies as usual
