"The Wall" was not one of my purchases. I've heard it enough for a lifetime, and never liked it much anyway. I'm more a fan of the early pre-Dark-Side material.

I saw the film originally in the theater
for a history afficionado, especially 20th century European conflicts
I found the film to be quite moving and painful
