No I have used dip before and still do from time to time. I was talking about actual chewing tobacco. I don't see how some one could sit there and chew that swill.

ain't no swill bro, with real chewers it's down the hatch. I started in 79', used to try and keep bottles, cups and shit like the dipppers use. Got tired of always looking for one and not having it and the shit looks terrible in the cup too, a lot of people saw it and made comments about "that shit is nasty!". Got tired of hearing it.
So it's just down the hatch... how many years IS that, 79-89-99-08, wow.

if there were no negative effects on my health, would I still be smoking? i quit for lots of reasons with health being the #1 factor and the nastiness of the habit taking a close 2nd.

yeah it'd be hard not to.
i always trick myself into thinking their is a perfect tobacco source with minimum side effects, the holy grail so to speak
but their never is.
pipe smoking-too difficult, looks retarded for a younger dude, still reeks and still becomes a habit
cigar smoking-fuggin stinks, stains your teeth, hurts wind breathing in all that smoke (even if you don't inhale)
dip-chics cannot stand it, looks redneck, overall just nasty.

naw, mabe if you did whe you first started. I chew Levi Garrett. Now Copenhagen, Skoal, the dipps, yeah, I never mastered the art of keeping it in my lip in one place, it did make me sick to my stomach. The guys who have used it forever, they spit when they can, don't when they can't.
