possible infection in delt

I shot my delt 9 days ago it was a little sore for the first 3 days then it went away. I woke up this morning and my delt is so sore I cant even move it. It is swollen and hard but not red and warm to the touch. I have a scrip for cephalexin 500mg should I start takeing them or wait another day.

It is probably not infection. You probably worked it out too much.
Infection starts slowly and becomes progressively worse.

As long as It's not red and warm it's not an infection. If it was your body temp. would also rise some. I think you may have just worked it pretty hard. I have had my shoulder get very sore a few days after a delt injection. It want away after a couple of days. I think you'll be alright if a couple of days.

Thanks for the help guys. I woke up today and it feels alot better. Hopefully when I wake up tomorrow it will be back to normal.
