Poor kiddo's sick today

This is the first time she's really been ill since she was born. Maybe a couple of sniffles here and there, but nothing that really slowed her down. She crawled into bed with me this morning and was soaked through just burning up and whimpering. She said her stomach hurt so I tested the waters and gave her some ice chips. She kept those down so I gave her some kids motrin. That all came up a little bit ago all over me and my bed. Worst part, she just cried saying she was sorry. That broke my heart more than anything. She fell right back to sleep after I got us all changed and some new sheets on the bed, fever seems to be coming down too. I hate this shit. I just feel helpless.

Its harder on us than on them, I'm convinced. Poor baby. This kind of thing absolutely sucks. Kids bounce back rather quickly though.

Just make sure she's hydrated.

Awww poor kiddo. Hope she feels better. Even spending time with my nephew when hes sick breaks my heart and he's (obv) not even mine.

I can't handle crying or sick kids.
