I have been following Steve Holman's POF for quite some time. And really enjoy the growth I get from it.

I just recently started SS2. I started at 219lbs at 14% fat. I am 231 12% fat. Not bad.

I am starting to feel drained. I may start to do t/nt 3 days per week program starting monday. Recharge my batteries.
 
Well, its basically training your bodyparts using 3 angles.
Midrange-Bench Press
Stretch- Flyes
Contraction- Crossovers

Just these exercises will blow your whole chest up!

Then there are many techniques to use... go to their website.
 
I just started compound aftershock supercompensation...

Workouts are Great!!!
 
that may be something i'll look into after i get done cutting. i dont think contest prep and super intense growth oriented work will go well together. give me food!!!

POF is the best time for contest prep! You are focused and should be hitting the gym like a freaking machine!!! Knocking people off YOUR weights ....Gotta get that trophey!!!

I prefer to do POF as my contest prep. I can't get into the focus to do POF justice if I don't have goal with a time limit. And don't give me that "just get big" goal crap either. When you're standing on stage feeling stronger than you do in the off-season, it is freaky!
