He's a fun guy, but why would you imply all the others are uptight?

With only 7 posts under your belt, you might not know I ain't seriously in the running, and none of those other guys are uptight like me :)
 
I voted for guldukat. He is extremely knowledgable and helpful. He and I have been chatting on PM's for over a year about various training ideas.

Personally, I get a little nervous about Swain being a mod. While most members here have not had a personal problem with him. I don't like the idea of someone who has started threads for the expressed purpose of flaming me or for personal attacks against me. Or someone who chats with via e-mails and be online friends with an individual who has stalked me at the gym, and refuses to reviel their identity to me, but would e-mail me and tell me things about what I do at the gym, what gym I go too, etc.

So no, I think if Swain were a mod, my days at EF would be numbered.
 
CasualBB or WalkingBeast would be good choices for Training forum Mods as well. We all know Bfold would be a good choice, but he isn't on the list.
 
I'm not a regular on this board so I'm not too familiar with any of nominees.

Hope you guys pick someone who will remain neutral no matter what. I think that is one of the biggest priorities for the fairness of every individual.

guld and casual are prime examples of such characteristics...

I agree with BBF I don't know why swain is even on there, he's made 2 trolling accounts since he left his goodbye post, both of them to simply be inflammatory towards me, even using one of them to AGREE WITH HIMSELF lol...anyway I'm not even sure why he would be seriously considered...
 
I'm really shocked I even have 2 votes, and very honored at who has posted they would vote for me.

I couldn't take it, as I have posted before, but feel VERY honored that I was even considered.

I dont know why needsize was not on there, we have gone over this many times, on several boards, and i think hes been nominated several times on each thread. *shrugs*
 
Well, should it be based on knowledge at all? Level headedness, yes, but this is for moderator, not mentor/etc.
 
I cant be nominated as there are some mods that believe I am a source, so if I became one it would cause problems. So BRR and I have chatted about it, and although the alegations are very much false, I dont want to cause any strife on the EF team. So thats alright with me, and BRRs honesty was much appreciated, so I'm cool with just helping out in this forum the way I normally would

This is a good list but of these men, I had to give my own vote to Casual.

I still don't understand why people are voting for Louden. How long ago did he publically annouce he was leaving EF?

Anyway, that he's currently got 1 vote shy of Nate and 1 more than Joker shows a small group of people aren't taking this seriously enough.

Wow, holy cow. I had no idea you were looking for two mods! Like Beast I'm open to PM's with anything from suggestions to what's expected of me.

I figure a mod's role is to just limit the flaming and keep the board as BS-free as possible. It's kind of a passive role, but if anyone has any suggestions as to more action you'd like to see me take, please let me know.
 
good choices, I didnt vote as I couldnt decided between all of you guys though, I think everyone who has not made a farwell post and was nominated, would make a great mod.

Great choices. Although I feel this was thrown together a little too quickly (louden doesn't even post anymore!), and not given enough time for all members to vote. You have to remember that a lot of the vets of this board have gone, and without a training board mod, a lot of bs has gone on here. There's some posts that you'd expect to find on some third rate board, but not here (especially considering how positive and hardcore this place had become over the past couple of years). So there may be some votes from people that are new to the board, and not have it's best interests at heart. Although I feel casual and walking will do a fine job, I also feel guld and bignate would have done wonderful as well. They may not post as much as those two members, but they are fair men, and would both be excellent for a job such as a mod.

Either way, I hope this board is led back to it's former glory. It is truly sad to see how it has become. All the greatness that took years to build just gone within a few weeks time. I know it can come back, and with new leadership, hopefully it will. Congrats to casual and walking.

ThanX brother!! I do want to see you all succeed in your goals! I think thats what made this board great, encouragement and honest opinions. Thats why I stayed. Im glad I can give some back. ThanX again!

I agree. This board has seen much better days! Hopefully we can help get it back to where it was. Im looking to eliminate all the bullshit thats contaminated this board. Ill be on it like a watch dog, and when I see it Ill be sure to do what I can. ThanX brother!!
