WHOA yea i started on the "DIET" 3 weeks ago and on the 4th day i thought i would be in the "keto" but my stix said none
so i looked over what i was eating
bacon
egg whites
steak (plain)
chicken
pork rinds
tuna -lite mayo zero carb
salmon
diet coke
diet dr pepper
water
nothing else!!!
i just wanted to lose around 15lbs (at least 5 of fat)
i was keeping count of carbs---less 1 gram a day
" " " " " protein---200 grams
"" " " " " fat-----AROUND 190GRAMS
between 1500-2000cal a day
so since i wasnt in ketosis i thought that maybe i needed to add a little more fat to my diet so i did 1000mg of flax 4x a day
and by the seventh day i tried the ketostix again & guess what???? ketostix read trace!!!!!
i was kinda mad thinking maybe my sticks were bad (3 years old)and i do know what the purple looks like (read purple 3yrs ago) when i bought them---so off to the store ---well same reading!!!
what could it be??????

i've been in keto b4 with a more radical diet of just tuna & chicken & water
so now before i go radical for a 4-7days i'm gonna drop the diet drinks and sub water in place and on V-DAY i'll do a stick first thing to see if anything happens
but its just my 2 cents
I'M 6ft 224lbs
