Is she right?

The argument isn't about global warming in general but the impact of humans as opposed to nature. Terra goes through cycles and people claiming global warming is bullshit just say it's a normal cycle and human impact on the ecosystem is negligible. However, I find it hard to believe that billions of humans have no impact on the ecosystem.

I kinda asked her somewhat off topic, she gave me a short answer but Im sure she would be able to PWN anyone on this board with evidence.

Just because COLD climates (Such as canada) exist, does not mean global warming isn't taking place. Global warming= "warming", not hell on earth.

I doubt it's simply hippy agenda. But anyway, you really think all the bullshit we do/put in air has NO effect on the enviroment? Specifcly, greenhouse effect/global warming?

Just because there are warmer climates doesnt mean it does exsist.

Does it seem weird to anyone else that some atheists can advertise their views as intellectually superior because there is not hard evidence regarding the existence of God yet totally buy-into global warming despite its sketchy (at best) evidence?

Not to turn this into a religious thread (I'm agnostic at best -- raised C of C tho), but look at the similarities. Both religious and global warming people have political agendas, feel passionate about the truth of their beliefs, want to control the decisions and actions of others, etc. etc.

And here's my favorite: "A majority of scientists believe global warming exists". Well, a majority of Americans believe in God too -- does that make him real?

Sure. I just pointed that out since Razor used Canada as a reason why GB is not occuring.

The "theory" is, doesnt matter if it's a naturally cold or hot climate, the point is, that the earth is getting warmer, obviously.

Once again, just stating what my prof. said. Although she is extremely intelligent (more intelligent then 95% of this thread), and I'd like to believe her, I'm not 100% sold. However, to a degree, I am.
