Pharmaceutical Drugs & Alcohol do NOT Mix!!!

I beg to differ bro..for years I was hooked on everything under the sun..I found oxys and was an extreme everyday addict for almost 10 years..then I moved up to xxx..my life was in shambles, lost jobs, a house, money, friends, a fiancé, and family..until I tried to take my life as well..with the help of 12 step meetings and other people in the program, I have turned my life around.. I'm happily married (different girl), have a beautiful 18 month old son, and I celebrate 3 years of sobriety tomorrow!! Working out has played a huge role in my recovery as well..just my .02..

good for you bro, stay strong.........

I admit if im not all in with the bb'ing lifestyle at any given point i do drink occasionally. But not to get drunk. If I drink something its because I enjoy the taste. I just never could get that "lets get fucked up!!!" mentality. "lets drink as much of whatever we can find to get wasted" ...what the fuck is that?
I all but stopped drinking beer cause it just bloats you and makes you fat. Not to mention I could drink a dozen and just wanna go to bed. So it was a waste of money.
I'll have a few glasses of wine once in a while but thats about it for me.
I dont even think drinking and BB'ing mix. It just doesnt look right.
As for perscription drugs, let alone mixing them with booze...you gotta be a serius fucking idiot to go down that street.

I find it funny how everyone is talking about living a clean lifestyle and not doing drugs yet they forget that steroid is a drug..
Just a thought..

The big exception here is that one side is for getting wasted, high, low, ect. The other side is for improving your body, sense of well being, physical appearance ect. Done so in a sane way will not be detrimental to ones health.

One thing, lets respect each others experiences and opinions.
Aside from that, I appreciate everyone's input in here. Talking addiction, booze, etc., but when you start involving alcohol while under the influence of medications, it can turn deadly. As an example, one may try Hydrocodone with a doctor's prescription, yes it will take away alot of pain but it goes further than that. People CAN abuse it involuntarily by involving alcohol into the scenario. The user will "think" he feels better or great when the euphoria takes place under Hydrocodone. THAT is when things get very risky, not a good thing at all!! Same goes for other medications and OTC meds. Really, this topic is to educate and awareness for ALL. Your families, friends, kids, teens, adults, everyone. Can you imagine if your friend, a relative or even your kid messed around just ONE time with meds and alcohol, then you get a phone call that he/she is in the ER?! Not me or my loved ones, if I can help them.

A lot of these steroids are prescribed for people with serious illnesses such as AIDS patients. There is a lot to gain and benefit from aas. But as I've always looked at it; too much of anything can make u an addict. Everyone has there own "thing" some are just worse than each other. I do drink beer or 2 periodically. Only on a weekend or so. I have actually popped a few pain pills also and drank on them yrs ago... It's just about knowing ur limits. I'm all for whomever doing what they want to as long as it doesn't effect their daly life.

I agree 100%. In some cases people do change. I have seen several friends pass from drug overdose including my mother. I have also known several people that have been sober for several years that we thought there was no hope for. You never know. Prescription and recreational drugs are a bad gig.

anabolic steroids are hormones. they are found naturally in the body. every single AAS out there is derived from male hormones.

coritico steroids are not anabolic steroids..
