Personal Trainers in Florida Info

My name is Justin and I am from Southern Illinois. My fiancee and I are looking to relocate to Florida Next winter. Looking at the Clear Water area. Anyhoo I am 26 and have been in Fitness for the last 9 years as I have been racing Pro MX and SX for the last 5 years. After over 15 boken bones and 4 surgeries including knee reconstruction last April, I have taken some time off and going to school for both Massage Therapy and Personal training, both programs I am averaging 26 hours a semester. Big change from Graduating Highschool and traveling all over the country racing dirt bikes. I have been going since Summer and will graduate this Spring as a Licensed MT and ACE certified PT. Back to the Florida topic. Is the market Saturated down there. We really love Florida and want to start our life there, but just wanting to see if it is going to be hard to get clients. Thanks for any info, and if there are better areas, I would like to here.

florida is a good place for a PT we have our fat asses, old people, little guys who want to be big and then theres a slew of people who need general direction in the gym all of which are good money makers for a PT

Hey Justin.....Im a personal trainer here in florida, Dont have second thoughts about making the move here and trying it as a personal trainer...you and your wife to be..... Since this is florida the sunshine state its all about one thing....lookin good at the beach and people here have money....serious money...potential is limtless. If you do end up moving here i have contacts from clearwater to orlando, i'l gladly point you in the right direction. I myself run and manage the personal training program for Snap Fitness a gym that is taking over.
