People that Believe in "Natural" Only Shouldn't Drive Cars Either.

perceptions iof risk are different for different people

some people have unprotected sex, but insist on wearuing seatbelts. some people drive. some people use roids etc etc...

just as with any drug, roids have side effects and years of misuse can cause serious health problems. lots of people dont like to take a substance that can cause health problems, when their only motivation is to get bigger even if they havent worked out naturally for a while.

others choose to take them because they cannot gain size or strength naturlly anymore. some choose not to take them because they are illegal, some do etc etc. different reasons for different people, but neither side should be condemed for their choice

im moving this to chat too :)

Because some law prohibits something doesn´t make it morally wrong.People who use steroids do it on their own risk, so the state shouldn´t mess with their freedom. If they damage their body because they use it in a stupid way it´s their problem, everybody has to take care of himself.

Using steroids to achieve faster what could have been natural is kind of cheating, but i would do it anyway if i thought that the risk is worth taking.

Using steroids when someone reaches his genetic limits and he wants for some reason more is perfectly ok to me.

But there is no reason to pick on natural BB, these guys have chosen the difficult path and their body is the result of harder and more dilligent work.
So if a natural BB achieves the same as a juicer i would consider the natural better in the sport.

I have been reading this thread and must say there is alot of silliness here, furthermore many members have rather large misconceptions of steroids. Forst off let's all agree we are talking about Anabolic Steroids. And once that is cleared up we need to say which Anabolics we are talking about. Saying something like "steroids will harm you" or "steroids will screw up your body" is just plain wrong and shows the severe lack of research and study done on the topic. Currently we looking at about 200 anabolic substances available on the market, they range from
C-17 orals to Injectables.

Once you study the topic you will begin to realise that hormonal supplementation can be of significant benefit in extending your life span and quality of life. The exact reasons are too many and complicated to be covered by the scope of this post but rest assured, that it's the natural Body Builders that have been brainwashed and told many untrue things about Anabolics are the ones being cheated. Not the useres. Granted there are many ways to abuse certain specific anabolics, that can over time cause harm, but there are compunds you can use for a lifetime and live longer and better then you would have if you did not.

So do not say "Steroids are bad", because that begs the question on which specific steroid you are referring to, all the negative hype did was list all the worst possible side effects from the most harsh anabolics. And i must point out, that those side effects were recorded from patient studies that have been on long term therapy, like patients recieveing 50mg of Anadrol daily for 2 years. So they were reported to have some liver problems, well no shit. So there you have it, "Steroids cause liver damage", see my point?

On a personal note, why deny yourself all the advances medicine has to offer. This obsession with staying "natural" is actually very detrimental to your long term goals. Our life spans have been dramatically extended thanks to technology and medicine. Using certain anabolics and prper training methods will save you joins for the later years, strenghten your heart, immune system, bone density, improve you skin appearance, as well as improve the mental capacity and promote a positive outlook on life, thus increasing it's quality. So that being said about the prudent use of certain anabolics i ask, why deny yourself all those benefits that modern medicine has made available to us? Do not let politicians and their scare tactics keep you from finding the truth, because if they do, you will be the one that will be cheated, not the steroid using athelete.

How many "natural" bodybuilders or just reg. people get there test levels checked out-------Answer---not many if any----a lot of these guys walk around day to day feeling down or depressed just because there natural levels are out of wack---when in more cases then one, Hormone therapy would not only benefit them but probably add more years to their lives---The government does not want people(mainstream) to know this------Do you know how many people over the age of 50 could benefit from HGH-----The answer is off the charts-----But our government doesn't want to add years to a person life but just the opposite--------
Our society can't handle people living to be 100---that why I believe--cloning and shit like that will be stopped by our government for they do not want cures for things that help with population control....If it happens--it will happen in a hurry and will end up being the end of the middle class---which will destroy our way of life----Steriods and HgH I believe can be the fountain of youth so to speak for a lot of people---But not the abusers like us:)---So our government along with many others will fight these things and send out propaganda to destroy it----

I think too many people jump on the steriod bandwaggon before they should. That being said, I think it's a matter of personal choice.

I for one, do not juice, only because I KNOW I'm not nearly as disciplined as I should be when it comes to diet/training. Maybe when my life settles down a bit, I'll think about cycling...but for now I get by with half-assed effort and a little ECA. :D

I think anyone should be allowed to use steroids if they want to. I was thinking about the fact that the U.S. will let you take alcohol and cigarettes which are just as harmfull if not more than AAS. On top of that, the U.S. could tax it and make money off of it. I don't necessarily think that newbies who have been training under 5 years should do it but once again that is their choice.
