I think the judge is beginning to look like he has a personal vendetta. Holding the cop in contempt makes him look biased.

she needs to stop being a pussy she did the crime she needs to do her time its 45 days

but holding the sheriff in contempt is MAJOR shit. Judge shouldn't have done that.

Well the sheriff shouldn't have gone and decided what he thought the sentence should be. That's why he's the sheriff and the judge is the judge.

I'm sure it wasn't out of the ordinary for the area. They are pretty overcrowded there. On the other hand, the judge made pretty clear that she couldn't serve house arrest. Still, a judge is holding a cop in contempt like that is a BIG DEAL. It is pretty unusual. A warning would have been more appropriate.

I think the whole thing's about an example that's being made. Kids do actually look up to her (god knows why) and the judge is showing everyone she's no better than the rest. A sheriff just releasing a high profile prisoner like that makes the judge's decision look unimportant.

it sucks that miserable people with no lives or clue of how the detention system works wanna see a person posing little to zero threat to society suffer so much just cause she's a baller

yeah no threat, drunk drivers never kill people. Not only does it teach kids that money will get you out of trouble it also shows more celebrities they can act like retards and get away with it.

I kind of agree with the cop though that punishing a celebrity more harshly than anyone else isn't justice either.

Cop's not a judge, and she had her three strikes.
