haha, i guess and 80 would make you sick!! thats like 16 regular vicodens!! I don't like painkillers, i took them when i blew out my knee for a few weeks, made me constipated and gave me hemmorrhoids

Its like 16 percocets or percodans not vicodin. Oxycodone is stronger than hydrocodone.

In defense of terminator he said most pain killers containing opiates have acetaminophen in them and his right in that the most commonly prescribed painkillers do.
Go ask you Doc for some Oxycotin. I'm guessing you're not going to get it.

BUT...you can tell him you can't take acetominophen and he'll give you something that has aspirin in place of the acetominophen...or something else, but yes, you are right, hardly any docs will prescribe oc's

thank,s for the info like most folks i hate going to the doctor so most of the time i just work through the pain but i will see what a doc's thinks before i take any pain killers .

i have used o/c before, not really for pain however but just to kick back after an intense leg day to watch a movie. I hope its ok to mix these two, i dont't see why not.

Thanks for clearing that up (I ran off to the gym). That's sort of what I was getting at in that most docs will not give anything stronger than vicodin for pain (unless you have serious problems or a nice liberal thinking doctor ). But DRRman knows that I would not post misinformation knowingly...he's just keeping me on my toes today .

All opiates come with different mixtures. Eg. Vicodin ES
is 7.5 Hydrocodone / 750 APAP, but u can get a Vicoprofen
7.5 Hydro / 200 Ibuprofen, etc... same for the other opiates
- the chance of your Doc giving u oxycontin is low, unless you
know him or have a good relationship with him. Just my
2 cents.
