Overtraining?

Ok bros I feel like im overtraining. I am now at the end of my 5th week of 500/wk of test e and ive seen nothing but minor strength gains and water bloat. I havent gained any real weight and im still gettin damn sore after my workouts. Does this sound like im training a bit to hard? Im not training any more than i normally would but my body feels like its taking a beating.
 
try taking 3-5 days off. and see how you feel when you go back. eat alot of good clean food , sleep alot.
 
taking a few days off while "on" a good idea? O yea im also having sleeping problems too. I wake up like 4-5 times a night and have night sweats. Side effect of test?
 
now that sounds like overtraining. believe it or not you'll feel like you packed it on if you just stay away for about three days and get plenty of rest. your recovery time is where you make your gains. i was wanting more info. such as training, diet, etc.
 
Heres an example of a chest day: flat bench 12,10,8,6,4,2 pyramid, incline dumbell 4x6, decline or decline cable crossover 3x8, pec dec 3x10,

Back day: Deadlift 12,10,8,6,4,2, pull ups 3 x 8 wide/close grip, dumbell row 3x8, seating wide grip pulldown 3x6-8, reverse flys 3x10-12

Those are two of my days the others follow the same sort of plan usually with a heavy power movement since im sort of powerlifting and bodybuilding followed up by isolation exercises.

Diet is good i eat about 4 "meals" a day and supplement in 3 shakes a day with bananas other fruit and natrual pb sandwhiches on whole grain. Im taking in a good 3500-4000 cals per day about 300-350 of protein and a good 400-450 of carbs and small amount of fats mostly good fats.
 
Where did you get your gear? If you bought it from a gym dealer or from a friend (I use that term loosely here)there's always the possibility that they emptied it out and refilled with Wesson Oil and recrimped it.
 
got it from a pharmacist. From HRT Lab in Florida called Signature rx. I've had friends use the same stuff and get awesome results so I assume its legit. It's actually 200mg enanthate and 50 mg prop blend similar to testoprim.
 
Bro how would we know if you are overtraining if you don't tell us ur split. Whenever I am training purely for mass I workout each body part once a week, gained 30 lbs in a cycle doing this.

havin the same problems on my 5th week bro. im wakin up a bunch o times during the night and sweating and i actually got weaker my 4th week so i ended up only liftin once that week and recuperating. now im 1/2 through my 5th week and strength is getting better. supposedly by the 6th week gains should start goin through the roof so give it another week.
 
A lot of people these days claim you can't overtrain while on, but I think it's very possible. Maybe you are doing too much, going beyond what your body can handle.

I can take 2grams of test a week, and 110mg of d-bol a day, but if I go to the gym more than 4-5 times a week, I overtrain. If I do briefer, more intense workouts 3x a week, I grow. I've tried it all, hst, volume, hit, etc, etc. I've been upwards of 300lbs, and I only got that way by listening to my body. Yours is telling you that you need a break. You have to find what works for *your* body, and from the sounds of your symptoms, what you are doing isn't working.

I'd also look at your nutrition plan. A lot of people think they are eating enough, when they really aren't. You need plenty of calories to grow. No, that isn't an excuse to go to wendys every day, but you do need tons of food. Drink some whole milk, eat some whole eggs, it won't harm you. :)

Take a few days off, just relax. Three or four days away from the gym won't kill you, but it will certainly help you. Cut down on some of your sets, or exercises (for back day, the deads, rows and chins are all you really need. The rear delts get plent of work from the rows and deads). Up your calories too, and you'll be growing like a weed.
 
Wow i get into the gym today (week 6 of test) and EXPLODE. Throwing shit around like it was my job. Guess just had to wait for the shit to kick in. Ill see how i am by the end of the week and then i will know.
