Overhead DVD Players

I am taking a trip in 2 weeks and would like to get an overhead DVD player installed in my car ASAP... so no special order. Thinking locally... I have Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Sears, Sams Club...etc...etc to work with... anyone have good advice on brand/model to buy. How hard or long does it take to install?

I dont know about a car. But I have an overhead lcd above my bed. Bestbuy for sure.

Cartoys if you have one.


Depending on the size you get they can range from a 100 or so on up. Most "lcd" screens are made by one of 2 companies so you're pretty much getting the same thing from make/make.

Install shouldn't take more than 1-2 hours.

Also, most "stereo" shops will install it for free if you buy it from them. Sometimes costs a lil more, but well worth it if you aren't mechanically inclined.

Cartoys use to do installs for $1 if you bought the product from them. Dunno if they still do it though
