Over 40 with past health issues....need advice

I have done many cycles in the 90's and 00's. I had a small stroke over
3 years ago. I am 6'2" and 295 lbs. I am 42 and would like to get in the
best balanced shape possible in the coming year. I have a rather decent
knowledge of AAS and other agents of a complimentary fashion, however,
I am now on a high blood pressure medication that keeps my pressure
around 120/80. I know I have a large hill to climb to even get ready to
think of the things I want to do. The advice from the field that I need is
as follows: what anabolic can I take that will not set my blood pressure
afire and what balance of gear should i endeavor into that will not make
me hold too much water. I have a unique goal. to weigh 235 lbs with
18.5 arms. I have had 19.5 in the past taking a variety of things about ten
years back. I need to be careful and smart this go round. I am looking
for REAL advice and experience to help me make gear decisions and amts.
My diet is something that will be a work in progress for the coming months
as I shed weight that I do not need. I have not really worked out a lot
since 2007, so I am coming off an extended layoff per se. I have to go
find a ton of willpower to play in my mid life crisis I guess.

what is your bf%? from your size you have to be 30% or more. and you also had a stroke recently which tells me you likely have very high cholesterol. what is your diet like? how often to you eat fast food or denny's/ihop type food?

to be frank no steroid will help you right now. you need to do a lot of running and change your diet. I would consume mostly fruits and veggies.. and very lean meats (sasuage, bacon, roast beef are not lean meats btw). go with some fish and lean organic chicken and drink tons of water and only water.

running is the best but diet is 80% of it.. i wouldn't even consider steroids until you get your bf% under 15% which for your age is pretty strict. if you can do that then you wont need bp medication anymore and will have a healthy heart.

I certainly don't have your experience, but if I was you, I would put in first priority my health. This the ESSENCE of why health care IS NOT A RIGHT, BUT A PRIVILEGE. Your decisions will have direct impact on your own personal health, and no one else is responsible for it.

You need a complete blood test that measures everything. After that, I would look into the possibility of going on a prescribed HRT; that will help you burn fat very fast, while keeping muscle. While on HRT, carefully monitored, you can elaborate and modify what to include to achieve your goals.

You are 100% right. I would figure I am 30% or a bit more. I have to
bear down and face the mirror if you know what I mean. I do believe
you when you state that my blood pressure would not be a problem
with the weight reduction and such. That is my first goal. Get there
with no sleep problems to speak of and no issue of the blood pressure
and I would entertain the thought of dbol or test then. I understand
that you can cut with any AAS if done properly I do. I get it too. I
plan to actually to report this resurrection with regularity for those who
care to post to this thread. I cannot wait to feel better again with the
mirror smiling back at me a bit.

Absolutely.....my most recent blood panel showed a decrease in overall cholesterol. All other
possible concerns on the panel showed ok.

What kind of HRT?

well let me tell you a quick story. I was a successful weightlifter and track star in high school, was in fantastic shape. could run 4 miles in 90 degree weather and not even feel tired..

when i started working my first real job it was sitting on my ass on a computer and I started to eat bad (pizza, burgers, milkshakes, denny's type food, candy bars), put on weight over the course of 2 or 3 years.. got in really bad shape. dealt with bad heart burn, my body was telling me something.. just like when you had your stroke your body was telling you something.. I got tired of the doctor visits and the bs tests they were putting me through.. I decided to take matters in my own hands..

and I lost 50 pounds in 1 month.. now a lot of people on here will say that wasn't healthy or that isn't possible to do.. but I DID IT. and that was WITHOUT steroids or any drugs.. all i did was change what I was eating and drink a crapload of water + did yoga.

since then I have mantained an athletic body and have competed in 5K's, half marathons, and have really sculpted my body in the weight room. so my point is you must change your LIFESTYLE.. no more trips to mcdonalds for big macs, or morning trips to IHOP period. just grocery bags full of nutrition food from the supermarket. thats all and it will pay off for you

Solid advice, No pill or Steroid is going to transform you the power to change starts in your mind, Make up your mind to change your lifestyle and eating habits, A good start would be to divide meals into several small serving each containing some protein. Cardio in the morning 8-10 hrs after last evening meal will do a hatchet job on Body fat.The best of all it will lower BP, cholorestrol all the time while reising your metabolisme all day long allowing you to sleep more soundly letting the body rest/heal and start producing HGH from the adrenal glands. So its a win win situation for you.
