Redislocated my shoulder on Monday night during a boxing match... LOL -- long story.

Basically, I went to the ER only to put my shoulder back in MYSELF... because the bastards made me wait so damn long. Fuck, got there at like 11:30pm and didn't leave until 1:45am... that was retarded.

Anyway, I've been doing some VERY light therapy this week... and even mustered some 30lbs db curls with no shoulder pain yesterday. I think my biceps will be the first muscle group I'm able to work, legs next (with squats and such) then it will move on to chest and finally back then shoulders... I plan on being BACK in the gym in full capacity (not full strength) in 2 weeks...

It's all about the rehab now... and pushing EVERYTHING on my body this doesn't effect 200% as hard as I usually do.

Rehab it as much as possible. You need all the small muscles around your shoulder to be super-strong.

My younger brother is having one of his operated on next week and the other one this time next year... Not what you need when you're a 15 yr old athlete :(

I am really refusing to have an operation... I think it will just make the situation worse.. .at least for me... I mean, I worked around my injury pretty well for 4 years in the weight room... there were maybe a handfull of exercises I couldn't do... one of them was behind the back shoulder presses... like... who cares? LOL

That is my intention, I have my band right here and am going to do a few motions tonight.

If you can really strengthen it to the point where you're not having any problems then I'd avoid the surgery too.

My brother is hoping to go pro in a contact sport, so he's in a bit of a different situation.

i know the feelin. i've had some issues with my shoulder as of late. but i'm going back to hittin it hard next week in the gym. good luck and come back strong brotha. tb

Throwing a hard left jab... I didn't fully connect and over extended on the punch, dislocating my shoulder (It has been dislocated 2x in the past before).
