Ouch

Had a bad injection yesterday ... Quad shot 1cc QV EQ + 1cc QV TE (this was my first shot from the QV TE 50ml jug)

I aspirated and everything so I knew I was clear, but I must have passed the needle through a vein cause half way through the inject, it started to hurt, swell, knot up and leak a little blood. So I finished the shot and then it bled pretty good but I was able to get it under control. A bruise started forming right away, and it hurt and stayed swollen. Today when I got up it is all reddish purple about the size of a quarter with a white spot in middle where the inject was. Still hurts more than normal, and swollen more than normal, but not too extreme I don't think.

I think my problem was just from hitting the vein and I should be OK at this point but I am going to keep my eye on it. Just wondering what you bros think?

Also thinking about baking my jug of QV TE, I'll probably try another shot first to see how it feels without busting a vein.

where did you shoot it?
baking it won't do any good!
qv enth has quite a punch to it be prepared to rotate injection sites
make sure you heat up the oil after it is in your needle right before you do the injection, run it under some HOT water and then inject within a minute. this should help some and then massage the hell out of it. I have found that taking an advil or two about a half an hour before the shot keeps most of the swelling and pain away and seems to help control the peak level of pain.

thx stonecold I did some research and found running through a .2 micron filter would be the best method if one were concerned about sterility

i'll give it another go heating it as you suggest

i feel bad for you of whats to come. the QV enanthate 50ml jugs are the worst. after EVERY shot of that it swelled up,stiff, hurt like a bitch. once in my quad i literally could not walk. i know some guys say just take the pain but those are the ones that had a good batch. bake it and filter it for sure - usually hitting a vein wont make it really hurt, maybe a tiny tiny purple spot

yea daddyx I had heard the warnings about the stuff but personally I always had zero problems with QV up to now ... so I thought it was just something they had a one time problem with, on a certain batch and got fixed - plus remember I am cutting it with eq

the vein I think was part of the issue cause it basically started bruising up immediately even before I pulled the needle out

does anyone know the exact procedure for filtering? I think you heat it first, I guess I'll just need to get some more vials or whatever paraphanelia to capture it
