Ouch...back pumps!

So I finally know what you guys are talking about with back pumps. At first I was like "cool, I'd love to have a pumped back!" Now it is so bad that after a few sets of squats I simply cannot go on. It is not something I can tough out and work through, it is totally crippling and I have to stop squatting. Today they were so bad that even when I moved to leg press I was still affected. Any suggestions?

taurine!

I've had back pumps but nothing crippling like you are mentioning. I've had compartment syndrome with the anterior part of the shins after doing calves which are extremely painful and made me stop doing calves hard. I should have never really worked calves hard anyway since they grow just thinking about calf raises. Lower back pumps though have made me quit workouts sooner than planned.

What is a good amount of taurine to help? Taurine is a B vitamin, no? Just preworkout, or do I need to take it daily? Does it hinder the "good" pumps as well?

Stretch And Get Ur Lower Back Stronger And Core Too

Bro, it's not a weak core or lower back. You obviously have never experienced them evidenced by making that statement. They can be debilitating. The Taurine helps a lot.

i get the same thing, after deadlifts or Sqauts, its dreadful,
i usually just put heatrub and take an advil

its gone the next day.

nutritionExpress has linburg 80% pure milk thistle Extract,It works extremely well for back pumps in about 90 % of the subjects plus its cheap, I would start with 3 tabs and work from there, lots of water.

I get that bad in my rear delts... No matter how I position my arms after, my shoulders fell like they are going to pop. Now I do them last on my shoulder days. Feels good in someways...

are you on any orals dbol or a50s ?

No orals, just prop and winstrol. I hear dbol makes it real bad. Luckily I have no interest in ever taking Dbol. Of course I've said that before about Test.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one, and that I am not just being a bit of a pussy. I think I will give taurine a shot and see how that helps. Thanks for all the input guys.

Bro I;m getting it bad in my legs when on the treadmill right now. Im trying to get in at least 20 to 30 minutes on the tread mill per workout right now and it just starts killing after 10.

Move on to doing some light stiff legged deads
to stretch out the lower back and hamstrings, Then hit the hams with reverse leg curls
this will allow to to sit down doing hams and your lower back will be stretched out from the stiff legged deads, Then you will be seated doing reverse curls if you time it correct it should take around 8-10 minutes then the pump should be down some in the lower back for you to do your leg presses.

to be honest I hate the leg press machines Id rather just do front squats and sissy squats after reg squats then move to hams and leg raises.
