Oral Pain Killers?

I am getting electrolysis on my shoulders and upper back to remove some unwanted hair. In certain places it is really unbearable, especially when I sit there for a few hours. It is constant pain. You think waxing is bad. HA. It is nothing compared to electrolysis.

At any rate, I am trying to find a good oral pain killer, probably nothing topical though. I've tried tridocaine and even bought it from canada. It helps but not really. I want something that really works, but something I won't Heath Ledger myself on too.

Does valium work? I thought about just getting really drunk like before you get a tattoo ha

valium is a great antispasmodic but makes for a terrible analgesic.

10-15 mg oxycodone will do the trick.

You have this done by a medical practitioner, no? You might try asking them for something if the pain associated with the procedure is that bad.

Oral pain killers will target everything -- they won't just numb your skin in certain places. Topical might be the most effective route to go without getting totally high before hand. Perhaps lidocaine on the areas to be hit an hour or so before the procedure.

topical is best, you are right, but he says it didn't help.

docs will not give you anything for these procedures.

2 or 3 percodans would help with pain and relax you.

If used strictly for this procedure only, any opiate pain medicine will help. You will probably feel a little pain but it will be dull compared to what you currently feel. 20 mg of hydrocodone will probably work unless you have the tolerance of an addict. I'm a recovered addict. I used to take 100 mg of hydro at one time to get a buzz srarted. Then 2 hours later I would take another 50 mg. When my quack doctor got nailed by the DEA, I had to go to the black market. That kind of habit got expensive fast. My finaly 2 months on the stuff I spent over $3,000 USD. That was the point that I realized that I needed help badly.
