No, I'm just saying younger women are more attractive to men than older women. Its a generalisation, but its a general thread.

To each their own, I have nothing against young girls I was one too, so if anything I would be protective of them. I stopped traffic when I was 19 too so I don't feel like I'm missing out on any male attention but at that age I was also too naive and inexperienced to know better.

And for the record it was a 39 year old man who was my lover when I didn't want to date that told me why men like him like the little girls, I didn't make it up I just paraphrased.

So don't propagate hate between women of different ages because of your preferences rather be a man and be accepting of your own tastes.

I think your 39 year old lover is speaking from his own viewpoint and thats fair enough. Bear in mind, I'm attracted to women of 23-26 because of their personality and the fact they're of a certain maturity but I think younger women are better-looking overall and I thats what the threads about - looks. Personality matters too

Honestly, HalfC, you can say the same thing about young men, too.

Most guys have NO idea how to work anything properly (or how to keep it working long enough, if you get my drift) until they hit their 30s. In hindsight, the worst sex I've ever had in my life was the youthful sex. But I'm an old fart, I actually thought at the time it (and I) was good. Oh man I was SO FUCKING wrong!!! :FRlol:

the jealousy running thick in this thread, you make it sound as if the girl is some sort of victim. like she's being held at gun point or somethin. she's just as willing to be there as he is. sure we like them for their nice young tight bodies. just like they like us for our maturity, wealth,stability, good looks, and whatever else.. it's a trade off between two consenting adults

I know your comment is directed toward Velvett, not me but I'll give a shot at getting you to understand this: It's NOT jealousy!

I can assure you, there is not a woman in her 30s or older who would trade what's inside her head, and about how she feels about herself, to get back the body of her 18 year old self, NOT A ONE. We are not jealous of younger women, we do not in any way, shape, form or fashion resent that men are attracted to what we consider basically children or little girls.

But many of us are left perplexed at how such a relationship can be satisfying. If you take away the pretty package (and really that package is that pretty so transiently), what the HELL does a guy verging on 40-something man have to say to a 19 or 20 year old kid? Seriously? I am 43, I have a 23 year old son. I love him to death but we don't share the same interest in art or music or activities. In short, we have very little in common over the long haul, and I've known him all his LIFE!

I guess what I'm saying is there comes a point in life when I would think you would desire a relationship that is fulfilling on more than one level. And that other fulfillment can, for some of us, have an increase on perception of beauty.

is it that or the fact many older woman (over 22) are jaded about life after being fucked over by dudes that they now never give guys a chance without harassing them and questioning them about everything because THEY are the insecure ones. I never said they were stupid, although I'll admit an allusion to ignorance might have been implicit (stupidity being the inability to learn whereas ignorance is just not having been exposed to the material to learn it). I did say that a difference in life experience can create disparity in a relationship and I would find that a HUGE obstacle over the long term. I need common ground to build a relationship on, and part of that is shared perspectives and common life experiences.

I mainly told you that I'm not in any way jealous of some 18 year old kid, and I explained to you why I'm not. Does she have a nicer body? There's a chance she does (but seriously, have you looked at the kids in the mall lately? A muffin top and midriff top is not pretty no matter how young you are), but there is not one thing she can do with that body in a bedroom that I can't. Plus, there is a WHOLE world of things I know about doing that I would never have dreamed of asking for or dared to try when I was 18. Finally, I was more neurotic about myself and my body when I was in my teens or 20s than I am now. I like myself now, which I can't honestly say I did then and that's one of the blessings about getting older as a woman. Guys generally don't have that problem, if anything they usually like themselves too damn much so maybe that's why satisfaction in being comfortable in your own skin a hard concept for some of them to grasp.
 
And Dutch, I call them kids because I have a 23 year old son, a 20 year old daughter and a 17 year old son. An 18 year old is a kid to me. My husband feels the same way, believe me, it's a conversation that has come up.
