This was her "political" way of not heavily endorsing him because she knows he sucks, but now she has to explain why she was such a big supporter at one time.
This interview was not good for Obama. She is sitting there explaining and making excuses for knowing the dude.

She regrets it now, being such a big supporter of Obama can't help anyone much. Whether it was his fault or not the country sucks so much, he is not someone you want to associate with too much. The country is doing about as well as her TV channel. (I'm sure she's making a lot of money off it though)
