Some say not to go to the gym more than once a day, some say its good to go back for a 'top up' later the same day, some say its good to have a day off every week.

If you are getting plenty of sleep and your body is getting help with rapid repair and plenty of suppliments isnt it sweet to smash out the gym in the morn and after work at nights as often as ya can??

Id be very interested in some of your opinions on this

It seems evereyone has a different opinion, i'm not juicing and i get good results by working out each body part once in 7 days. Sleep is when you grow.

I don't do this all the time but right now I am getting up in the early AM and doing a workout at home. In the afternoon I go to the gym. It's having a great effect on my body. (I'll do this for another six months or so.

I think the main thing is to not fall into a routine that your body gets used to. If that happens you aren't going to grow as much. If you change up your workout times and the type of workout you do you will get more out of it.

I think its a good idea to switch it up every so often,, and add that extra push, whether its going 2 a days, or 7straight,, just have to listen to your body,,, if you start to feel tired even after full nights sleep, or get cold/flu symtoms, basically anything out of your normal, then ease back off for a while to recover.......

the only time i would go twice a day is when doing weights in the morning and cardio in the evening or vice/versa. this routine was used only while getting ready for a contest.
in the off season i think one session of intense training is plenty for your body. the rest of the day should be dedicated to eating and preparing for your next training session

I really think it depends how hard you blast it when you are in there the 1st time....

After a session of squats or deadlifts, one session is all I could physically do... Going back a second time after days where I kill compound movements would be a waste of time for me because they'd be half assed. I am way too exhausted to walk up a flight of stairs let alone focus on another session. Personally I prefer to give it all I got when I am there. The only time I can picture going back a second time would be for easier movements like forearms, neck, abs, or calves after I have also done easier movements previously in the day... But after Squats or Deadlifts FORGET IT!!!! :)

personally. I train one on one off. I am on a cycle and find I get the best results training that way. When I'm there I train as close as I can to 100%. 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes tops. Helps to avoid cortisol and keep body from being catabolic. Strength gains continue to go up. So hit it hard and get the hell out of the gym, don't fuck around and chat work out and work out hard. That's the best advice I can give.

By the way pulled my personal best today in deads 587lbs it was awesome. (do maxes once a month to see progress.)
