I don't mind the Spurrier bashing, most people hate him cause they can't beat him, but when I heard about him leaving this afternoon I about shit. I think that no matter who we get to replace him, we won't be as good next year as we would have been with Spurrier here. I think Jabar, Brock, and Lito will definitely leave now.....the only plus we have going into next season is that Rex will still be here.....but I am concerned as to how good he'll actually be without the second best QB in the nation biting at his ankles for playing time.

Yes he is a winner, He won at Floridia, he even won when he was at Duke. But he has the sportmanship of an 8 year old.

The last game he coached at Duke before moving to Floridia, he ran the score up to 45 to 3 against a young North Carolina team. Then he sends in the field goal team to kick with two seconds left! 48-3 the final. Then they went out and took a team photo in front of the scoreboard.

HE'S AN OFFENSIVE GENIUS. MANY PEOPLE DON'T LIKE HIM FOR HIS SO CALLED WHINING AND "VISOR THROWING SHENANNIGAN'S," BUT HATE HIM OR NOT, HE IS AN OUTSTANDING COACH. Spurrier is a fool. An increase in pay with the NFL won't justify the headaches he will encounter. Look at guys like Joe Paterno, Tom Osborne, Bo Schembeckler, Bear Bryant, etc who send their entire careers on the college level. These guys, like Spurrier were gods, and their jobs were much more rewarding and easier than anything on the Pro level. Spurrier should just have stayed put and enjoyed life.
