One more time! All Newbies please read!

I'm still puzzled why it took YOU to put up a "Rules" post that has actually lasted several weeks. That Thread should have have been carefully crafted years ago and conspicuously posted, as yours has.

But it clearly isn't just a post for newbies; many vets have still, after all this time, failed to get the point. Maybe lack of interest, maybe actually impoverished intellectual capacity, or maybe just a feeling of being gear-tossing gods.

I'd personally rename it "RULES! Listen Up - This is Your Chance."

Anyway, it's nice to see your rules are still up there. You and willy put some concerted effort into them. Pretty simple, but some guys don't get the point.

Oh Well...

You again. Yes, I intend to both climb the mountains and become the mountains, traveling anywhere in the world I want as an American.

Do you have any problem with that? I first saw some interesting mountains almost 3 years ago, identified some great gear and the traverse, only to be screwed by those I thought would be team-climbers. Screwed bigtime.

But they f**Ked up while I watched, and now they face a perilous point halfway up: to call for help and bring on a 4-person team or fall off a cliff by themselves, alone, frozen, and never to be seen again. Sadly, I think they will choose the latter; and the fall is long and steep.

Sheesh. One post. That says it all.

What is your post about Dex? Just curious...

Any positive contribution?

Well, the world will little note nor long remember what is said here, but it can never forget what was done here.

I reckon that someone other than a user struck statements from Mr. Bench's post and his inappropriate comments (about climbing mountains, etc.) to a simple, kind statement I had made to Quad for his work. Have any ideas? Why the interest anyway?
