Personally, I have done a couple cycles and get a few pimples when I am on, but I've never had to resort to accutane and wouldn't want to because it's liver toxic; it's sorta a dermatologist's last resort for that reason. I do fine just washing my face in the shower with Neutrogena oil free soap and then sometimes using proactiv at night before bed (I don't use it in the AM because it smells). I've found a soap that dries your skin is best (2% salacylic acid) because it helps balance out the oil overproduction which causes acne or just a greasy pizza looking face. You can always add moisture back easily if your skin gets overdried a lot easier than you can get rid of zits.
I think the key is basically just showering (or at least washing your face) immediately after exercise so oil buildup won't clog pores and also avoiding any lotion or moisturizers which might clog them. You'll read that a lot and it's true in my experience too. If I get all sweaty from biking or whatever and don't clean up soon after, I notice my face usually breaks out with a couple pimples within the next few days...
I have heard good things about noxzema's results too but I tried it once and it tingles like it's acid on your skin lol... and it really stings a ton when you get it in your eyes on accident. Add to that the fact that it smells sorta weird, and I have to say I didn't really like it.

I thought you were a woman^... why would you take accutane? It's usually for pretty severe acne from really unlucky genetics or heavy androgenic cycles.Freddie de Lux said:Accutane is the only thing that works, believe me.
