One arm chinups..

Tom Treutlein said:
Hey, too bad I didn't dream about it. Thanks though.

You have no clue what a one handed chin up is if you think you are holding with your other arm strictly for balance and support. In a one arm chinup you hold on to the bar with one arm and that is it. Your other arm isn't holding on to anything, yourself or the bar. I can do 90% as many pullups with just one arm on the bar and the other arm holding on to my arm and "supporting"

Why don't you test it out...?

You hold your wrist with your other hand for support, so you're balanced. You don't actually pull with it...

My point is let go of the wrist and get 7

holy shit.. do you train chins everyday?

the thing I would do if you really want to win the $20 is train chinups like the army trains bench and chins.. everyday till you can hammer out 30 in a row, you might be better equipped to do a one arm then. that's terrible for muscle growth though.

I hope somebody who knows the best way to do this jumps in here

Well no, they army doesnt really train with weights at all! they focus souly on body weight excercises, and mainly only focuses on cardion training. A strong soldier is not always the goal, but a soldier that is in good shape can do alot! I wish they trained more on weights it would work better for me. I fucking hate pushups, in high reps! but you do what you gotta do for the PT test
