Ok what I did was take it to work and open it in the parking lot. Made sure nobody was following me. I figured if there was a signaling device it would take the cops several minutes to get there, so I could rush into the B-Room and dump the stuff into a toilet, then they could search wherever they wanted.

Anyhow - no device

You can't make that stuff up................lol

The "signal devices" are expensive. The authorities will only invest in it if it is worth the catch.
For cosmetic users who don't buy huge quant and distribute, this really isn't an issue.
Sure, it can happen. If worried, open it in your car away from home. Inspect the packaging, then toss it in a public can. If you feel it is rigged or looks like tampered with, the worst you'll have to do is toss the gear. Better than the alternative.

If it looks cool, then Go to your best friend's house with the package and open it up there. Before leaving the house, i'd write "wrong adress" in the package, and I would ride my bicycle with package in a backpack pretending that u are returning it.

(btw... not somethin I would do... the previous statement was all in good fun ... I figure if you can do the crime... try to get out of it the best you can while keeping your integrity at least mostly intact ie little white lies and bending of the truth are both acceptable ... but if ya can't get out of it do your time...like a man... the last thing ya wanna go to prison being is a snitch, or molestor/rapist, cause when the real convicts get wind of it, and they will... they'll break you off on general principle)

I doubt there was any way my job would be risked, for one I wasnt even in the building ( if you read my post... ), if I was to flush it wouldent have been on our office floor. Plus I basically built the company from the ground up, Im a major shareholder, firing me would essentially put them out of business. Our in house law team is 2 offices down, and Im good friends with the lead, he would have told any cops to get lost without a search warrent.
