Once upon a time in Mexico...

I had a runner once, he was damn good too. 17 year old skinny white boy who in no way looked like he would even think of crossing with gear. He was able to do about 5 runs until he was caught. Had pretty much the same type of penality, $500 fine and a strip search by a fat ass cop. The kid was so shaken up after he left he backed his car into a light pole and ripped off the bumper. I felt bad for him so i helped by paying half the fine even after loosing about $400 in gear.

Sorry to here about your unfortunately situation, but dude, why would you ever think of smugling gear when there thousands of reliable sources available. One of the main purpose of elite is for people to gain contacts.

wow , i go diving in Cozumel every summer and was thinking serously about trying that. I've brought back some Cubans a few time but that's about it.
Sorry for your troubles but a serious THANK YOU for the warning !!

I used to do it all the time through the TJ border crossing. Thought about the consequences but never thought I would get caught. Thanks for the info.

Sorry to hear that bro, that's why I ONLY use domestic PCT suppliers - clo/nol. Much easier and safer :)

Btw...I think after 5-9 years (depending on the offense - ballpark 7) you'll get your record cleared :)

Does a seizure letter give you the same problems -- i.e. forever flagged by customs after leaving the USA? However, I don't think they can strip search you without reasonable suspicion, but I don't know search & seizure laws when it comes to the borders. Too bad the BB'ing and the Law board is all but vacant. In its infancy, it was beginning to really roll but then something happened and it kind of faded away. I wonder what happened? Hmmm???

I have been warning guys here for YEARS now :o, about this but it never fails that it keeps on happening by amateurs who think its a piece of cake...

Its unfortunate that you had to learn the HARD WAY (many do :(), but crossing the border with illegal contraband is CERTAINLY not to be taken lightly :o

I have tried to talk out countless guys here so maybe your story will reach one of them and save someones ass (at your expense though :(...).

A smart man will learn from another mans mistake though :)

The most nerve racking experience is crossing that boarder with gear on you. Then the shit hits the fan and you're flagged for secondary search because the customs guy at the booth makes you open the center counsole of your car and sees a little black bag your dumbass forgot to get rid of. When there's nothing in it you try and think of a clever retort.

By this time you've been waiting at the boarder for a good two hours and your bladder feels like its going to explode from maybe a couple drinks you had. The urgency just gets worse...

Luckily, if you're smart enough to have kept the gear on you they dont make you get out of your car (in some cases). Trunk checked, quarter panels patted and they send you on your way. Driving up I-5 you get shaken up, and think to yourself NEVER FUCKEN AGAIN and let out a big sigh of relief.

If you admit to anything you've just commited yourself to 100% guilt. Deny everything...but maybe in this guy's case it was better to admit it.

Sorry to hear your lose pal but thanks for the customs story. It's funny how people complain about the prices of gear but never seem to realize the risk of getting the gear into the states! I have heard people complain because a bottle was $5 or $10 more so he bitches. Everyone who has a domestic source should be very happy that they do not have to order gear online from overseas or cross the border for juice.

Sorry to hear that bro.

I really wished you discretely mentioned your method on this board so we could've loudly warned you with big red signs to NOT do it. It was a huge risk you undertook, with pretty much very little to stop you from getting noticed.

Smuggling it in a pouch in your pants puts you pretty much at the HIGHEST category to be caught. The easiest prey. If you undertake a crime, you also must be prepared to handle the penalties. Fortunately, you got off easy w/o jail time, court appearance, bail, etc. etc.

If it was la county -- you'd be stuck in some horrible dingy cell for 3 days and even get a record for it.

There are very ingenious plans on smuggling it into the country. Obviulsy no one is going to blab it out publicy on a board. But i would've suggested you looked into those methods first.

But even more so -- GO domestic!!!
