I don't feel too bad. I'll be taking ibuprofen before bed and icing my knee for the next 24 hours for sure. Right hamstrings feel pretty taxed...but they should be. Hopefully I'll get better...

Big effort! That load has got to feel uncomfortable on the back! :)

But are sure your doing the right thing by overloading your knee so much when it's not 100%?

Of course I'm not sure...lol.

My knee really didn't feel anything in that position(it is actually my hamstring that hurts...where the tendons come across and attach below the knee and on the shin...). I did warm up with some box squats with my bodyweight and they felt strange. It might be in my mind though...

My girlfriend lives on the 2nd floor of a building with no elevators. I walked up and down several times yesterday and my entire knee joint area feels week...but it hasn't had ANY work in about a month...very little movement at all to be honest. If I didn't move my right arm for a month it should feel weaker too I'd think...

I dunno man...I see your point. I just have to push it as hard as I can (within reason and with using my head as much as possible). I can't just lay down and accept an injury...

Hope that makes some sense....

You have a lot of heart. I hope someday I'll have the honor of training with you. A true warrior.

No problem :)

perhaps you need to get it moving more, lots of reps, get the blood in there, a bit of walking.
Walking is great - I started doing 12 min walks a few tiems a week, that has helped my reocvery and foor/ankle muscle strnegth as well.

Although i don't know what your injury is like

I spent 2 hours cutting the grass yesterday...without a knee brace. It wasn't FUN for my hamstring tendons...but I survived. I probably need to do some sled dragging (VERY light) 3-4x per week to increase the work load that it can handle...

Not bad for a bum knee. I do recommend some very high rep ham curls to increase blood flow. Also you need to make sure that the knee is wrapped during the workout, not for support but to keep it warm, the muscle get cold and the contract a little, that little extra tension takes its toll after time, just a thought

I see your point...

Not much of a chance of getting cool in my garage...lol. I'd guess the temp in there was between 95-110 tonight...lol. The Icy-Hot keeps me pretty warm...

Seriously...even with those two factors...you think I should wrap the shin where it has hurt???

congradulations man. i like your mentality of not wanting to let an injury beat you, but your still going about it smart in my opinon. i think ccj maybe onto something with that stim unit. i was a trainer in high school and we used those a ton and they worked wonders. Im glad your getting better, and even though i know you have heard this a hundred times, dont get in a hurry....
:D

I have a stim machine...will use it Thursday afternoon. :)

Most peoples' idea of dealing with an injury is whining about it, making excuses, avoiding the area and going really light. B-fold's method is squatting 700 lbs LOL:D That's great shit.

"Pssst.....hey injury....:finger:"

fellas, its not really 700lbs...its more like 875-900lbs at the top with strong band tension. Clint said he had them tight so it could be like 900+ at the top

Thanks...not really sure how much it feels like. The bands never seem to make a big difference with me because my body seems to push faster with the more bands added...strange.

Right hamstrings are a little tight today and are pretty sore (a good sore though).

I still think you should wrap it since the top of your skin will acquire moisture and when air passes over it it will evaporate causing the muscle to cool. I know it sounds like I am nit picky but the temp decrease is suprising on a dry or breezy environment.
