I am so fed up with this FCC bullshit. It seems ever since the Janet Jackson Super Bowl thing everyone's been up in arms over "decency." Well for the sake of art, I say screw decency, as it need not apply. Can you imagine the veterans and their reaction if they knew the networks wouldn't air this movie because it was too "violent" or "profane?"
Besides, what we see in the news on a daily basis is worse than any movie they'd consider showing on air.
And they've already shown this movie before, so what's the big deal?
Not airing a movie that is supposed to honor veterans isn't going to help anything.
Instead of networks banning violent movies to protect childrens' fragile minds, how about parents try to actually raise them instead?
