ok this might be a stupid question but do you need to be in school to be an intern?

yeah...thats the way it works.
We get young engineers and give them there first project and they use it for school. Its set up with the U you go to....basically you work for the company on projects and you have a professor and a senior person over see you.

yeah well i can't do an internship because it's only one year. i applied to do the degree and i'd be in third year this year and my fourth year would be out in the field working but they put me in the after degree certificate program instead.

i deleted that thread when i got home last night. i had three drinks over the course of the evening. a good buzz, that's it. my friends were pissing me off, trying to force me to drink with them.

Our company considers one summer worth at least a year or more because you have so many people looking at what you are doing..........have you done any of that kinda of thing?
You have list it....that stuff counts.

They are only posting their wish list. There are entry level positions avail. With your degree, cert, and knowing your shit you should be able to find something to start at. Even if it is just for 6 months, then move on to a better job.
