OK I tried Eel....

Tonite was All You Can Eat Sushi nite ($21.95) so we went & it was set up like a buffet with all kinds of things..... I didn't get a chance to ask what everything I tried was..... but it was all good...

I even tried eel -- it was like Sardines with a BBQ-type taste..... :p

the trick i use at the auce is to take about 1/2 the rice of the pieces as long as they arent the rolls, you can eat a lot more fish that way without getting full so fast

They were rolls -- and they have a sign posted not to remove the fish from the rice..... So the rice was unavoidable....

Hey jen,

both the sea eel and the fresh water eel are KILLER!.. You can order that stuff a la carte in less rice heavy ways, if you go the sashimi route you can do the majority of the uber flavors without the carb punishment.

If I ever get food cravings (chocolate, cheese, etc) I'm gonna have to watch that video..... ugh

Smoked eel is my favorite! The sushi chef at my favorite place ties the nori around it like a little black bow tie.......

Eel is great. $21.95 all you can eat sushi? Jesus my brother and I could put them out of business on a deal like that. We usually end up spending 50-75 apiece for a sushi dinner.

That's pretty expensive....at least for FL. Here you go to a Chinese buffet (they are in almost every corner of the city) and pay between $5.99 and $8.99 and you eat all you can eat, including sushi bar. And they are very good. Now don't ask me what kind of meat they use or what else they put on their food. At least I'm still alive. :p

Well they had rolls, and the ones with the rice in a blob with the fish on top...... I didn't get to ask what everything was but there was: spicy tuna wrapped in the seaweed, California roll, smoked/fresh salmon, tuna, squid, some white fish thing, like a fried crab roll, salmon with cream cheese in a rice roll, crabstick on top of rice & in a roll, etc etc + fried shrimp, eggrolls, fried veggies + rice & noodles

Biteme -- Bite Me!! LOL

i was out with my (ex)gf and i ordered the bbq eel.... the old japanese waitress winked at me and said loudly "ah, Unagi very good, very good for man!"

That's one thing that sucks about those all you can eat places - there's one place we used to go that would charge you $0.50 for every rice ball you didnt' finish.

eeel is my favorite sushi but one time i got a spine stuck in my tonsil,

i shit you not, a fucking mini bone poking into my tonsil it was the worst most agrevating shit in the world, i must have gagged and near puked over 100 times that night trying to get it out with tweezers.

when i finally did i vowed no eel and i have not had it again to this day, but fuck it tastes so good
